This new Memorandum of Understanding will <br />expire on June 30, 2008. <br /> <br />Key new negotiated elements of this Memorandum of Understanding include: <br /> <br />l. Term: A four-year term , from July 1, 2004 through June 30, 2008. <br />2 . Salary Increase: July 1, 2004 = 0% <br /> July 1, 2005 0% <br /> July 1, 2006 = Up to 4.5% with a minimum increase <br /> of 3.5% <br /> July 1, 2007 = Up to 4.5% with a minimum increase <br /> of 3.5% <br /> <br />3. Medical Contributions: Effecti ve July 1, 2005 and for the remainder <br />of the agreement, the City's medical <br />contribution will be equal to the CalPERS <br />Other Southern California monthly Health <br />Maintenance Organization (HMO) rates for <br />Kaiser Permanente. <br /> <br />25E-1 <br />
