Approve the Project Cost Analysis for a total estimated construction delivery cost of $3,500,000, which includes the contract base amount, administration, inspection, testing, and a contingency of $522,998. DISCUSSION The City's Pavement Management Program has been developed to identify the preventive maintenance requirements for the City's street network. The recommended arterial street segments (Exhibit 1) have been identified as high priorities for slurry seal. The work consists of preparing the roadway by making minor pavement repairs, including localized replacement of asphalt concrete pavement, followed by slurry seal resurfacing, painting stripes and legends, and installing signage. Once completed, these improvements will enhance the ride quality, surface drainage, appearance of the neighborhood, and extend the life of the pavement. On November 18, 2014, City Council adopted Resolution No. 2014079 which authorized submission of applications to the Orange County Transportation Authority (OCTA) for grant funds under the Arterial Pavement Management Program for Warner Avenue from the West City Limit to Grand Avenue and for First Street from Newhope Street to Main Street. On January 12, 2015, the OCTA Board of Directors approved Regional Surface Transportation Program (RSTP)
