Kim: <br />Any information and documentation involving UL Mark services are provided on behalf of Underwriters <br />Laboratories Inc. (UL) or any authorized licensee of UL. <br />The engineering investigation under the above project number has been completed. This letter does not <br />authorize use of the UL Mark on the products under the above project number. <br />Before you may begin shipping product with the UL Mark at each of the manufacturing locations listed <br />below, an Initial Production Inspection (IPI) must be successfully performed by a UL representative at the <br />manufacturing location(s): <br />1. SS LIGHT CO LTD (Subscriber No. 100564-836) <br />274 PAJANG-DONG, JANGAN-GU, SUWON-SI, GYEONGGI-DO, 440-851, <br />Korea, Republic Of <br />The IPI is intended to confirm that the manufacture.r is capable of producing a product in accordance with <br />UL's requirements. THE MANUFACTURER MAY NOT SHIP PRODUCTS WITH THE UL MARK UNTIL <br />THE IPI HAS BEEN COMPLETED AND UL HAS FOUND THE PRODUCTS AT THE FACTORY TO <br />COMPLY WITH OUR REQUIREMENTS. Once this has been successfully completed the manufacturer(s) <br />will be granted authorization to ship products bearing the UL Recognition Mark. <br />It is the responsibility of SS LIGHT CO LTD, the Applicant, to inform its manufacturers of that the IPI <br />must be successfully completed before product may be shipped with the UL Mark. Instructions for the IPI <br />will be sent to our inspection center nearest to each of your manufacturing locations. The contact <br />information of the inspection center is provided at the end of this letter. Please contact the inspection <br />center to schedule the IPI and ask any questions you may have regarding the IPI. <br />Within Canada, there are federal and local statutes and regulations, such as the Consumer Packaging and Labeling <br />Act, requiring the use of bilingual product markings on products intended for the Canadian market. It is the <br />responsibility of the manufacturer (or distributor) to comply with this law.
