Any missing plan sheets, missing stamps and/or signatures (where required) <br />may result in significant delays on the plan review and approval process. <br />3. Change to the plans not the result of a plan review comment or new information added to the plan <br />set must be noted in the written response or the project may be returned without a plan review. <br />Additionally, there may be additional comments or plan review fees. <br />4. There are no markups on the plans. All comments are in the plan review comments/check list. <br />5. Additional corrections may be required after additional info is provided. <br />6. Plan approval will not include approval of plan changes that are not the results of plan review <br />comments unless the changes are specifically noted in the written response and clearly identified <br />on the plans as additional changes from the last plan submitta l. <br />7. Separate review and approval may be required from other Departments such as Planning/Zoning, <br />Engineering/Public Works, Fire Department, Health Department, etc. Contact City permit counter <br />for requirements. <br />CITY SPECIFIC/SPECIAL REQUIREMENTS <br />1. Final Approval: <br />a. Tenant improvement (with no added square footage to the existing building): (2) sets of plans <br />and (2) supporting documents are required. <br />2. For Disabled Access Compliance Documentation Form, please download a copy from the City’s <br />website: https://www.santa-ana.org/documents/disabled -access-compliance-and-unreasonable- <br />hardship-form-2022/ <br />BUILDING REVIEW COMMENTS <br />1. Final Plans: <br />1a. Final drawings and calculations shall be stamped and signed by the respective Registered <br />Design Professional and shall include the date of signing below the stamp. Digital stamps and <br />signatures must be noted as such on the plan. (Business & Professions Code 5536.1, 5802, & <br />6735). <br />1b. Final Set: Please make sure that all the sheets in the set correspond with the SHEET INDEX <br />and that all notes/detail references are correct & applicable. <br />1c. New Comment (8/20/24): Please clarify & coordinate the project address as it is shown as <br />2322 Pullman St. on Sheet C1, 2331 & 2332 Pullman Street on the new drawing borders, and <br />2311 S Pullman Street in the permit application . <br />2nd Review Comment: Comment to remain until plans are approved. Reminder updated Sheet <br />C1 was not submitted. <br />2. The proposed design shall be based on 2022 Codes.
