Round 1 Bowling and Amusement 12/09/2024 Paradigm Design <br />Main Place Mall Expansion Grand Rapids, MI <br />Santa Ana, California <br />Project #2309147GR <br />ALTERATION PROJECT PROCEDURES 01 3516 - 4 <br />ed. 2023-09-22 <br />3.Reporting: Record meeting results and distribute copies to everyone in attendance and to others <br />affected by decisions or actions resulting from each meeting. <br />1.6 MATERIALS OWNERSHIP <br />A.Historic items, relics, and similar objects including, but not limited to, cornerstones and their contents, <br />commemorative plaques and tablets, antiques, and other items of interest or value to Landlord that may <br />be encountered or uncovered during the Work, regardless of whether they were previously documented, <br />remain Owner's property. <br />1.Carefully dismantle and salvage each item or object in a manner to prevent damage and protect it <br />from damage, then promptly deliver it to Landlord where directed at Project site. <br />1.7 INFORMATIONAL SUBMITTALS <br />A.Alteration Work Sub schedule: <br />1.Submit alteration work sub schedule within thirty (30) days of date established <br />for commencement of alteration work. <br />B.Preconstruction Documentation: Show preexisting conditions of adjoining construction and site <br />improvements that are to remain, including finish surfaces, that might be misconstrued as damage <br />caused by Contractor's alteration work operations. <br />C.Alteration Work Program: Submit thirty (30) days before work begins. <br />D.Provide layout and locations of all core drilling and slab saw-cutting for Landlord approval prior to start <br />of any work. <br />1.8 QUALITY ASSURANCE <br />A.Specialist Qualifications: An experienced firm regularly engaged in specialty work similar in nature, <br />materials, design, and extent to alteration work as specified in each Section and that has completed a <br />minimum of five recent projects with a record of successful in-service performance that demonstrates <br />the firm's qualifications to perform this work. <br />1.Field Supervisor Qualifications: Full-time supervisors experienced in specialty work similar in <br />nature, material, design, and extent to that indicated for this Project. Supervisors shall be on-site <br />when specialty work begins and during its progress. Supervisors shall not be changed during <br />Project except for causes beyond the control of the specialist firm. <br />B.Alteration Work Program: Prepare a written plan for alteration work for whole Project, including each <br />phase or process and protection of surrounding materials during operations. Show compliance with <br />indicated methods and procedures specified in this and other Sections.
