Round 1 Bowling and Amusement 12/09/2024 Paradigm Design <br />Main Place Mall Expansion Grand Rapids, MI <br />Santa Ana, California <br />Project #2309147GR <br />INSTRUCTIONS TO BIDDERS 00 2113 - 6 <br />ed. 2024-04-26 <br />the Bid Form, or inclusion by the Bidder of any alternates, conditions, limitations or provisions <br />not called for. <br />5.1.12.Bids shall include sales and use taxes required by the State in which the Project is located. <br />Contractors shall show separately with each monthly payment application the sales and use <br />taxes paid by them and their subcontractors in the form indicated. Reimbursement of sales and <br />use taxes, if any, shall be applied for by Owner for the sole benefit of Owner. <br />5.2.SUBMISSION OF BIDS <br />5.2.1.All copies of the Bid and any other documents required to be submitted with the Bid shall be <br />emailed to the office of the Architect. The subject of the email shall include the Project name in <br />the following format: Round 1 – Chandler Fashion Center, Tenant Improvement Bids. <br />5.2.2.The Bidder shall assume full responsibility for timely delivery at the location designated for <br />receipt of Bids. <br />5.2.3.Bids of General Contractors including all appropriate subcontractors will be received by Kim <br />VandenBerg via email @ kvandenberg@paradigmae.com by TBD end of business day. <br />5.2.4.Oral, telephonic, telegraphic, or fax transmittals will not be considered. <br />5.2.5.Bidder’s proposal will be required to be submitted under a condition of irrevocability for a <br />period of 60 days after submission. <br />5.2.6.By submitting a bid, the Bidder is acknowledging that there will be no contractual relationship <br />between the Owner and Bidder until both parties have formally approved and signed the AIA <br />Document A101, Standard Form of Agreement Between Owner and Contractor Where the <br />Basis of Payment Is a Stipulated Sum. <br />5.3.MODIFICATION OR WITHDRAWAL OF BID <br />5.3.1.A Bid may not be modified, withdrawn or canceled by the Bidder during the stipulated time <br />period following the time and date designated for the receipt of Bids, and each Bidder so agrees <br />in submitting a Bid. <br />5.3.2.Prior to the time and date designated for receipt of Bids, a Bid submitted may be modified or <br />withdrawn by notice to the party receiving Bids at the place designated for receipt of Bids. <br />Such notice shall be in writing over the signature of the Bidder. Written confirmation over the <br />signature of the Bidder shall be received, and date- and time-stamped by the receiving party on <br />or before the date and time set for receipt of Bids. A change shall be so worded as not to reveal <br />the amount of the original Bid. <br />5.3.3.Withdrawn Bids may be resubmitted up to the date and time designated for the receipt of Bids <br />provided that they are then fully in conformance with these Instructions to Bidders.
