ENCLOSURES <br />Materials for enclosures shall conform to Section 206 and fabrication shall conform <br />to Section 304 of the Standard Specifications. <br />Controller Enclosure: Controller enclosure shall be manufactured of 3/16-inch plate <br />steel and 10-gauge sheet metal, factory primed. Enclosure shall be furnished with <br />break-away base, and a full length stainless steel door hinge hinged on same side as <br />irrigation controller. Enclosure shall be minimum 35 inches high and have sufficient <br />space to mount controller switches, relays, etc. Furnish mounting brackets as <br />required and metal pocket. <br />EXECUTION: <br />5.01.06 WORK PROCEDURE <br />A. PHYSICAL LAYOUT <br />1. Prior to installation, Contractor shall stake out all pressure supply lines, routing, <br />and location of sprinkler heads. <br />2. All layouts shall be approved by Engineer prior to installation. <br />B. WATER SUPPLY <br />1. Connect sprinkler irrigation system to outlets as indicated on drawings. <br />2. Connections shall be made at approximate locations shown on drawings. <br />Contractor is responsible for minor changes caused by actual site conditions. <br />C. ASSEMBLIES <br />1. Routing of sprinkler lines as indicated on drawings is diagrammatic. Install lines <br />(and various assemblies) in such a manner as to conform with details per plans. <br />2. Install NO multiple assemblies on plastic lines. Provide each assembly with its <br />own outlet. <br />3. Install all assemblies specified herein in accordance with respective detail. In <br />absence of drawings or specifications pertaining to specific items required to <br />complete work, perform such work in accordance with best standard practice with <br />prior approval of Engineer. <br />D. LINE CLEARANCE <br />All lines shall have a minimum clearance of six (6) inches from each other and from <br />lines of other trades.
