The cores are <br />provided for reference purposes only and are not part of the contract documents. The <br />Agency will not be held responsible for existing conditions that differ from the core logs. <br />It is the Contractor’s option to take his own core samples to verify the existing <br />conditions. <br />The price per linear foot for pipe and conduit in place shall be considered full <br />compensation for all materials, labor, equipment, tools and incidentals for doing all the <br />work including the removal of interfering portions of existing storm drains and <br />improvements; the closing or removing of abandoned conduit and structures; the <br />excavations of the trench including bituminous pavement; the control of ground and <br />surface waters; the preparation of subgrade; potholing; placing and joining pipe; bedding <br />and backfill; temporary resurfacing; deep lift asphalt concrete pavement for permanent <br />resurfacing; clean up; providing as-built plans and all other work necessary to install the <br />pipe or conduit, complete in place and no additional compensation will be allowed <br />therefore. <br />8.04 T.V. INSPECTION <br />For storm drain pipes 36" diameter and smaller, T.V. inspection shall be performed on <br />the newly constructed pipes. <br />The scope of work includes the recording images, Digital Versatile Disc (DVD) format, <br />all connections and lateral locations by footage or stationing, and providing the <br />AGENCY with a hard copy of the findings. Contractor's proposed log format shall be <br />approved by the Engineer. <br />During inspection, the operating technician shall provide, in addition to his/her image <br />recording (with audio), record of conditions, log in writing the location of all defects, <br />misalignments, and other conditions and data pertinent to the physical condition and <br />operation of the storm drain. Conditions, defects and laterals shall be located by footage <br />counter. <br />At all points within the storm drain where defects are shown, the Contractor shall stop the <br />camera, rotate (up to 360°), and/or tilt the camera lens to ensure adequate video coverage. <br />The camera shall be stopped and/or backed up to view and anal yze conditions that appear <br />unusual or uncommon to a storm drain in good condition. There shall be no loss of video <br />quality at any time. <br />The contract unit price per linear foot for T.V. inspection shall be considered full <br />compensation for doing all appurtenance work, including furnishing all materials, labor, <br />equipment, tools, traffic control and incidentals to accomplish the work, and no <br />additional compensation will be allowed therefore. <br />505 E Central Ave <br />#B11/6/2024
