CITY OF SANTA ANA <br />SPECIFICATIONS <br />PROJECT NO.: XX-XXXX <br />PROJECT TITLE <br /> <br />204 <br />responsibility of the contractor to install all of his work to specific conditions found the <br />site. <br />All changes from the drawings necessary to make the work conform to existing structures <br />or substructures, or to fit the work of other trades, or to conform to laws and ordinan ces; <br />of equipment, etc., prior to the installation, shall be made at no additional expense to the <br />Agency. <br />9.07 SUBMITTALS, SHOP DRAWINGS, AND RECORD DRAWINGS <br />A. MATERIAL LIST <br />Five copies of a complete materials list with brochures showing all equipment <br />indexed with job title, date, etc., shall be submitted to the Engineer after the award of <br />the contract. Submitting a catalog number and manufacturer’s name, and stating that <br />the material or item to be furnished will meet the specifications will not be <br />acceptable. <br />List the following items by make and number in the submittal: Underground conduit, <br />rigid galvanized steel conduit, cable, wire, pull boxes, main switchboard, poles, <br />fixtures, lamps, control equipment, panels, outlets, boxes, etc. <br />B. POLE SHOP DRAWINGS <br />Submit 6 copies with structural calculations prepared by a registered structural <br />engineer. <br />C. MAIN METERING AND DISTRIBUTION SWITCHBOARD AND CONTROL <br />SECTION <br />Submit 6 sets of shop drawings for approval. <br />D. RECORD DRAWINGS (“AS-BUILTS”) <br />Record drawings shall be prepared b y the Contractor and maintained in the field. All <br />changes in the work shall be recorded daily, accurately, on a set of blue line prints. <br />The location of all underground conduits and stub-outs shall also be shown, fully <br />dimension to two points of architectural reference such as buildings, walks, walls, <br />curbs, paving monuments, etc., record junction and pull boxes not shown on the <br />drawings. <br />Upon completion of each increment of the work, immediately transfer all such record <br />information to the prints. All changes and dimensions shall be recorded legibly with <br />a red ballpoint pen to the satisfaction of the Engineer.
