Testing as specified in Division 2 including, but not limited to; soils <br />analysis and irrigation pressure testing. <br /> <br /> B. Plumbing <br /> <br /> 1. Testing as specified in Division 15 including, but not limited to: <br />Sterilization, soil waste and vent, water piping, source of water, gas <br />piping, downspouts and storm drains. <br /> <br /> C. Automatic Fire Sprinklers <br /> <br /> 1. Testing as specified in Division 15 shall include, but not be limited to: <br />hydrostatic pressure. <br /> <br /> D. Heating, Ventilating and Air Conditioning: <br /> <br /> 1. Testing as specified in Division 15 shall include, but not be limited to: <br />Ductwork tests, cooling tower tests, boiler tests, controls testing, piping <br />tests, water and air systems, and test and balance of heating and air <br />conditioning systems. <br /> <br /> E. Electrical <br /> <br /> 1. Testing as specified in Division 16, including, but not limited to: <br />Equipment testing, all electrical system operations, grounding system <br />and checking insulation after cable is pulled. <br /> <br /> 1.11 INSPECTION BY THE OWNER <br /> <br /> A. A DSA Certified Class 1 Inspector employed by the Owner in accordance with <br />the requirements of the California Code of Regulations Title 24, Part 1 will be <br />assigned to the work. His duties are specifically defined in Section 4-342 of <br />Title 24, Part 1. <br /> <br /> B. The Owner and his representatives shall at all times have access for the <br />purpose of inspection to all parts of the work and to the shops wherein the work <br />is in preparation, and the Contractor shall at all times maintain proper facilities <br />and provide safe access for such inspection. <br /> <br /> C. The work of construction in all stages of progress shall be subject to the <br />personal continuous observation of the Inspector. He shall have free access to <br />any or all parts of the work at any time. The Contractor shall furnish the <br />Inspector reasonable facilities for obtaining such information as may be <br />necessary to keep him fully informed respecting the progress and manner of <br />the work and the character of the materials. Inspection of the work shall not <br />relieve the Contractor from any obligation to fulfill this Contract. The presence <br />of an Inspector shall in no way change, mitigate or alleviate the responsibility of <br />the Contractor. <br />505 E Central Ave <br />#B11/6/2024
