The Inspector is not authorized to change, revoke, alter, enlarge or decrease in <br />any way any requirement of the Contract Documents, drawings, specifications <br />or subsequent change orders. <br /> <br /> E. Whenever there is insufficient evidence of compliance with any of the <br />provisions of Title 24, Part 2 of the California Code of Regulations or evidence <br />that any material or construction does not conform to the requirements of Title <br />24, Part 2 of the California Code of Regulations, the Division of the State <br />Architect may require tests as proof of compliance.
