Drawings and general provisions of the Contract, including General and Supplementary <br />Conditions and Division 1 Specification Sections, apply to this Section. <br /> <br />1.2 SUMMARY <br /> <br />A. This Section includes exterior Portland cement concrete paving for the following: <br />1. Curbs and gutters. <br />2. Walkways. <br />3. Driveways <br />3. Concrete pavement. <br />4. Concrete wheel stops <br /> <br />B. Related Sections: The following Sections contain requirements that relate to this Section: <br />1. Section 312000: Earthwork for subgrade preparation, grading and base course. <br />2. Section 033000: Cast-in-Place Concrete for general building applications of concrete. <br />3. Section 321373: Paving Joint Sealants for joint fillers and sealants within concrete <br />paving and at joints with adjacent construction. <br /> <br />1.3 SYSTEM DESCRIPTION <br /> <br />A. Provide concrete pavement according to the materials, workmanship, and other applicable <br />requirements of the following standard specifications: <br />1. Reference Specification: Perform all work in accordance with applicable provisions of <br />"Standard Specifications for Public Works Construction", 2018. Unless otherwise <br />noted, mention herein of section numbers refers to sections of the Reference <br />Specification. Where Reference Specification refers to "Agency", substitute the word <br />"Owner". Where Reference Specification refers to "Engineer", substitute the word <br />"Architect". Where Reference Specification is in conflict with these Specifications, <br />these Specifications shall govern. <br />2. Measurement and payment provisions and safety program submittals included in <br />Reference Specifications do not apply to this Section. <br /> <br />1.4 SUBMITTALS <br /> <br />A. General: Submit the following according to the Conditions of the Contract and Division 1 <br />Specification Sections. <br /> <br />B. Design mixes for each class of concrete. Include revised mix proportions when characteristics <br />of materials, project conditions, weather, test results, or other circumstances warrant <br />adjustments. <br /> <br />C. Description of Methods and Sequence of Placement. For each type of specially-finished <br />concrete provide description of methods and sequence of placement. <br />D. Submit manufacturer's product data for the following: <br />1. Form release agent. <br />2. Concrete coloring additive. <br />3. Prefabricated control joint.
