<br />3.01 CONTRACTOR INSTALLATION AND SERVICES

<br />CONNECTIONS TO BE TAGGED TO INDICATE CIRCUIT AND SWITCHED LEGS.
<br />B.INSTALL ROOM/AREA DEVICES USING MANUFACTURER'S FACTORY-TESTED CAT 5E
<br />CABLE WITH PRE-TERMINATED RJ-45 CONNECTORS. IF PRE-TERMINATED CABLE IS NOT
<br />USED FOR ROOM/AREA WIRING, THE CONTRACTOR IS RESPONSIBLE FOR TESTING EACH
<br />FIELD-TERMINATED CABLE FOLLOWING INSTALLATION, AND SHALL SUPPLY THE LIGHTING
<br />CONTROLS MANUFACTURER WITH TEST RESULTS.
<br />C.INSTALL THE WORK IN ACCORDANCE WITH MANUFACTURER'S PRINTED INSTRUCTIONS
<br />UNLESS OTHERWISE INDICATED. BEFORE START UP, TEST EACH DEVICE TO ENSURE
<br />PROPER COMMUNICATION.
<br />D.CALIBRATE SENSOR TIME DELAYS AND SENSITIVITY TO GUARANTEE PROPER DETECTION
<br />OF OCCUPANTS AND ENERGY SAVINGS.
<br />E.ADJUST TIME DELAY SO THAT CONTROLLED AREA REMAINS LIGHTED WHILE OCCUPIED.
<br />F.PROVIDE WRITTEN OR COMPUTER-GENERATED DOCUMENTATION ON THE
<br />CONFIGURATION OF THE SYSTEM INCLUDING ROOM BY ROOM DESCRIPTION INCLUDING:
<br />G.SENSOR PARAMETERS, TIME DELAYS, SENSITIVITIES, AND DAYLIGHTING SETPOINTS.
<br />H.SEQUENCE OF OPERATION, (E.G. MANUAL ON, AUTO OFF. ETC.)
<br />I.LOAD PARAMETERS (E.G. BLINK WARNING, ETC.)
<br />J.POST START-UP TUNING - AFTER 30 DAYS FROM OCCUPANCY CONTRACTOR SHALL
<br />ADJUST SENSOR TIME DELAYS AND SENSITIVITIES TO MEET THE INDUSTRY
<br />REQUIREMENTS. PROVIDE A DETAILED REPORT TO THE OWNER'S REPRESENTATIVE OF
<br />POST START-UP ACTIVITY.
<br />3.02 FACTORY SERVICES (OPTIONAL)
<br />A.UPON COMPLETION OF THE INSTALLATION, THE MANUFACTURER'S FACTORY
<br />AUTHORIZED REPRESENTATIVE SHALL START UP AND VERIFY A COMPLETE FULLY
<br />FUNCTIONAL SYSTEM.
<br />B.THE ELECTRICAL CONTRACTOR SHALL PROVIDE BOTH THE MANUFACTURER AND THE
<br />ELECTRICAL ENGINEER WITH THREE WEEKS WRITTEN NOTICE OF THE SYSTEM START UP
<br />AND ADJUSTMENT DATE.
<br />C.UPON COMPLETION OF THE SYSTEM START UP, THE FACTORY-AUTHORIZED TECHNICIAN
<br />SHALL PROVIDE THE PROPER TRAINING TO THE OWNER'S PERSONNEL ON THE
<br />ADJUSTMENT AND MAINTENANCE OF THE SYSTEM.
<br />3.03 ACCEPTANCE TESTING SUPPORT SERVICES
<br />A.A CERTIFIED LIGHTING CONTROLS ACCEPTANCE TEST TECHNICIAN (CLCATT) MUST
<br />VERIFY THE INSTALLATION OF THE LIGHTING CONTROL SYSTEM. MANUFACTURER
<br />SHOULD INCLUDE AN EXTRA DAY OF FACTORY TECHNICIAN'S TIME TO ASSIST THE
<br />CLCATT REVIEW THE FUNCTIONALITY AND SETTINGS OF THE LIGHTING CONTROL
<br />HARDWARE PER THE REQUIREMENTS IN THE CALIFORNIA STATE FORMS. IT WILL BE THE
<br />CLCATT'S RESPONSIBILITY TO CREATE AND COMPLETE ANY FORMS REQUIRED FOR THE
<br />COMMISSIONING PROCESS, ALTHOUGH THE MANUFACTURER OR CONTRACTOR MAY
<br />OFFER SPREADSHEETS AND/OR PRINTOUTS TO ASSIST THE CLCATT WITH THIS TASK.
<br />3.04 INSTALLATION
