REMOVE LABELS FROM NEW EQUIPMENT WHEN PUT INTO SERVICE AND <br />LABEL EXISTING FIRE ALARM EQUIPMENT "NOT IN SERVICE" UNTIL REMOVED FROM THE <br />BUILDING. <br />1.09 SOFTWARE SERVICE AGREEMENT <br />A.AT THE COMPLETION OF THE PROJECT UPDATE THE FACP SOFTWARE AND FIRMWARE TO <br />THE LATEST VERSION REQUIRED FOR PROPER OPERATION OF THE SYSTEM. PROVIDE <br />ACCESS FOR SOFTWARE AND FIRMWARE UPGRADES VIA THE INTERNET. IN ALARM CONDITION, <br />THE SENSOR BASE LED SHALL BE ON STEADY. <br />6.EACH SENSOR BASE SHALL CONTAIN A MAGNETICALLY ACTUATED TEST SWITCH TO <br />PROVIDE FOR EASY ALARM TESTING AT THE SENSOR LOCATION. <br />7.EACH SENSOR SHALL BE SCANNED BY THE CONTROL UNIT FOR ITS TYPE <br />IDENTIFICATION TO PREVENT INADVERTENT SUBSTITUTION OF ANOTHER SENSOR <br />TYPE. COVER SHALL SECURE TO HOUSING BY MEANS OF FOUR <br />(4) CAPTIVE FASTENING SCREWS. <br />5.DUCT HOUSING SHALL PROVIDE TWO (2) TEST PORTS FOR MEASURING AIRFLOW AND <br />FOR TESTING. THESE PORTS WILL ALLOW AEROSOL INJECTION IN ORDER TO TEST <br />THE ACTIVATION OF THE DUCT SMOKE SENSOR. <br />6.DUCT HOUSING SHALL PROVIDE A MAGNETIC TEST AREA AND RED SENSOR STATUS <br />LED. <br />7.FOR MAINTENANCE PURPOSES, IT SHALL BE POSSIBLE TO CLEAN THE DUCT HOUSING <br />SAMPLING TUBES BY ACCESSING THEM THROUGH THE DUCT HOUSING FRONT <br />COVER. <br />8.WHERE INDICATED A NEMA 4X WEATHERPROOF DUCT HOUSING ENCLOSURE SHALL <br />PROVIDE FOR THE CIRCULATION OF CONDITIONED AIR AROUND THE INTERNALLY <br />MOUNTED ADDRESSABLE DUCT SENSOR HOUSING TO MAINTAIN THE SENSOR <br />HOUSING AT ITS RATED TEMPERATURE RANGE.
