Product Data: Submit manufacturer’s product data, including surface preparation, <br />application, and curing. <br />1. Submit Material Safety Data Sheets (MSDS) for each product (for information <br />only). <br />B. Shop Drawings: <br />1. Indicate locations and extent of waterproofing on plans and elevations with detail <br />call-outs. <br />2. Include Project-specific details for substrate joints and cracks, flashings, <br />penetrations, inside and outside corners, tie-ins with adjoining waterproofing, and <br />other termination conditions. <br />3. Shall be approved in writing by the manufacturer prior to submission. <br /> <br />C. Samples: Submit 3-inch by 1-inch samples for approval by the Architect. <br />1. Cured fluid-applied waterproofing, 60 mils thick. <br />2. Reinforcing fabric. <br />D. Product test reports from an independent testing agency indicating compliance with <br />requirements and based on comprehensive testing of material formulations. <br />E. Applicator’s Qualifications: Submit list of completed project references and certificate <br />indicating supervisor’s completion of manufacturer’s contractor training program. <br />F. Warranty: Submit manufacturer’s standard warranty. <br />G. <br />1.7 QUALITY ASSURANCE <br />A. Qualifications: <br />1. Applicator: Use applicator experienced in the application of the specified fluid- <br />applied waterproofing for a minimum of five-years on projects of similar size and <br />complexity. Provide a list of completed projects including project name and <br />location, name of engineer, name of coating manufacturer, and approximate <br />quantity of coating applied. <br />2. Applicator’s Supervisor: Employ a supervisor during all phases of the work that <br />had successfully completed manufacturer’s contractor training program. <br />3. Applicator’s Personnel: Employ persons trained for the application of fluid-applied <br />waterproofing. <br />B. Regulatory Requirements: Comply with environmental regulations. <br />C. Preinstallation Meeting: <br />1. Convene a pre-application meeting before the start of application of the fluid- <br />applied waterproofing. <br />2. Require attendance of parties directly affecting work of this section, including the <br />contractor, sub-contractor, architect, applicator, and manufacturer’s <br />representative. <br />3. Review environmental requirements, materials, protection of adjacent work,
