Environmental Limitations: Apply waterproofing within the range of ambient and <br />substrate temperatures recommended in writing by waterproofing manufacturer. <br />1. Do not apply in wet weather or when rain is imminent. <br />2. Apply when the surface is a minimum 50 ° F (10 ° C) and a minimum of 5 ° F (3 ° <br />C) above dew point. Consult manufacturer for application instructions if the <br />ambient or surface temperature is below 50 ° F (10 ° F). <br />3. Do not apply to porous substrates when substrate or ambient temperatures are <br />rising. <br />4. Do not apply to porous substrates when substrate is in direct sunlight. <br />5. Do not apply over substrates that are frozen or contain frost. <br />B. Install materials only after the substrate has been prepared as recommended in writing <br />by the manufacturer. <br />C. Do not apply materials with surface moisture present. Test substrates as required to <br />determine that they are adequately dry per the manufacturer's requirements. <br />D. Prevent exposure of any substrate component to rain, dew, and runoff from above until <br />installation is complete and all components are fully cured. <br />E. Protect coating from sunlight to the extent required per the manufacturer during <br />installation and until after completely cured. <br />F. Coordinate the Work of this Section with interfacing work for proper sequencing of <br />each installation. <br />1.11 WARRANTY <br />A. Manufacturer's Special Warranty: Manufacturer agrees to repair or remove and replace <br />waterproofing that fails to remain watertight within specified warranty period. <br />1. Warranty includes leak remediation, including repair, removal, and replacement <br />of protection course and drainage mat, as applicable. <br />2. Warranty Period: 20 years from date of Substantial Completion. <br />B. Installer's Special Warranty: Submit warranty, signed by Installer, covering the Work of <br />this Section, for warranty period of two years from date of Substantial Completion. <br />1. Warranty includes leak remediation, including repair, removal, and replacement <br />of protection course and drainage layer, as applicable. <br />PART 2 - PRODUCTS <br />2.1 SOURCE LIMITATIONS <br />A.
