<br />OFFSETS, DROPS AND RISES OF RUNS. THE CONTRACTOR SHALL ALLOW FOR ROUTING OF
<br />CONDUIT TO AVOID OBSTRUCTIONS. COORDINATE WITH OTHER TRADES, AS REQUIRED. THE

<br />5.CUT CONDUIT ENDS SQUARE. REAM SMOOTH. PAINT MALE THREAD OF FIELD THREADED

<br />COUPLING.
<br />6.LEAVE WIRES WITH SUFFICIENT SLACK TO PERMIT MAKING FINAL CONNECTIONS. RACEWAYS
<br />OVER 10' LONG IN WHICH WIRING IS NOT INSTALLED: FURNISH NYLON PULL STRING. FOR ANY
<br />RACEWAY OVER 25' PROVIDE PULL STRING WITH CONDUIT MEASURING TAPE AND INDICATE
<br />DESIGNATION OF THE RACEWAY ON EACH END.
<br />7.COVERS OF JUNCTION AND PULLBOXES SHALL BE ACCESSIBLE.
<br />8.PROVIDE PULLBOXES WHERE INDICATED, REQUIRED BY CODE AND WHEREVER NECESSARY TO
<br />FACILITATE PULLING OF WIRE.
<br />9.PULL NO THERMOPLASTIC WIRES AT AMBIENT TEMPERATURES LOWER THAN 32°F (0°C).
<br />PROVIDE CABLE SUPPORTS FOR WIRE IN RISER CONDUITS AS REQUIRED BY CODE.
<br />10.THE CONTRACTOR IS RESPONSIBLE FOR REPORTING INCONSISTENCIES TO THE ENGINEER IN
<br />FORM OF "RFI" REQUEST FOR INFORMATION BEFORE ANY INACCURATE WORK IS EXECUTED.
<br />11.IN THE EVENT OF CONFLICT BETWEEN THE CONTRACT DRAWINGS AND THE SPECIFICATIONS,
<br />THE MOST RIGID REQUIREMENTS SHALL GOVERN.
<br />12.CONTRACTOR/INSTALLER SHALL PROVIDE ALL MATERIALS, LABOR, EQUIPMENT AND SERVICES
<br />AND PERFORM ALL OPERATIONS IN CONNECTION WITH THE ELECTRICAL WORK.
<br />13.CONTRACTOR/INSTALLER SHALL COMPLY WITH THE REQUIREMENTS OF THE AUTHORITY
<br />HAVING JURISDICTION, INCLUDING THE NATIONAL ELECTRICAL CODE (NEC), NEMA, ANSI, AND
<br />IEEE STANDARDS THROUGHOUT THE PROJECT. ALL WORK SHALL COMPLY WITH ALL LOCAL,
<br />STATE AND FEDERAL CODES AND THE REQUIREMENTS OF ANY OTHER AUTHORITIES HAVING
<br />JURISDICTION. CONTRACTOR SHALL SUBMIT DOCUMENTATION THAT ALL NEW WORK PROVIDED
<br />UNDER THIS PROJECT WAS INSPECTED AND APPROVED BY THE AHJ TO BE IN COMPLIANCE
<br />WITH THE LATEST APPROVED VERSION OF THE NEC (NFPA 70).
<br />14.THE CONTRACTOR/INSTALLER SHALL VERIFY ALL EXISTING INFORMATION SHOWN
<br />(DIMENSIONS, OBSTRUCTIONS, ETC ) AND NOTIFY THE ENGINEER OF ANY DISCREPANCIES
<br />PRIOR TO INSTALLATION.
<br />15.CONTRACTOR/INSTALLER SHALL BE RESPONSIBLE FOR MAINTAINING A RECORD SET OF
<br />INSTALLATION PRINTS. THE CONTRACTOR SHALL NEATLY AND CLEARLY RECORD ALL
<br />DEVIATIONS FROM THE CONTRACT DOCUMENTS. AT THE COMPLETION OF WORK, THE
<br />CONTRACTOR SHALL RETURN MARKED PRINTS WITH INFORMATION MAINTAINED DURING
<br />CONSTRUCTION TO THE ENGINEER.
<br />16.CONTRACTOR/INSTALLER SHALL RETAIN ALL TESTING REPORTS PERFORMED AND PROVIDE TO
<br />OWNER AT COMPLETION OF WORK
<br />17.CONTRACTOR/INSTALLER SHALL AT THE COMPLETION OF THE WORK, SECURE CERTIFICATES
<br />OF APPROVAL FROM THE VARIOUS AUTHORITIES HAVING JURISDICTION AND DELIVER TO
<br />OWNER.
<br />18.EXISTING EQUIPMENT, BUILDING AREA, OR SURFACES DAMAGED SHALL BE RESTORED TO ITS
<br />ORIGINAL CONDITION OR REPLACED.
<br />19.THE CONTRACTOR SHALL REMOVE, RELOCATE, REINSTALL, REROUTE, EXTEND, AND/OR
<br />ABANDON ALL EXISTING ELECTRICAL EQUIPMENT WHICH INTERFERES WITH THE NEW
<br />ELECTRICAL LAYOUTS. ALL SYSTEMS WHICH ARE NO LONGER REQUIRED TO FUNCTION SHALL
<br />BE DE-ENERGIZED AND DISCONNECTED AT THE SOURCE OF POWER SUPPLY.
<br />20.INSTALL NEW WORK AND CONNECT TO EXISTING WORK WITH MINIMUM INTERFERENCE TO
<br />EXISTING FACILITIES. TEMPORARY SHUTDOWNS OF EXISTING SERVICES SHALL BE
<br />PERFORMED AT NO ADDITIONAL CHARGES, AT TIMES NOT TO INTERFERE WITH NORMAL
<br />OPERATION OF EXISTING FACILITIES AND ONLY WITH WRITTEN CONSENT OF OWNER.
<br />NOTIFICATION MUST BE GIVEN AT LEAST 7 DAYS PRIOR TO SHUT DOWN. ALARM AND
<br />EMERGENCY SYSTEMS SHALL NOT BE INTERRUPTED. MAINTAIN CONTINUOUS OPERATION OF
<br />EXISTING FACILITIES AS REQUIRED WITH NECESSARY TEMPORARY CONNECTIONS BETWEEN
<br />NEW AND EXISTING WORK. CONNECT NEW WORK TO EXISTING WORK IN NEAT AND
<br />ACCEPTABLE MANNER. RESTORE EXISTING DISTURBED WORK TO ORIGINAL CONDITION,
<br />INCLUDING MAINTENANCE OF WIRING CONTINUITY AS REQUIRED.
<br />21.ALL EXISTING MATERIAL AND EQUIPMENT IN USABLE CONDITION, WHICH IS TO BE REMOVED
<br />UNDER THIS CONTRACT, SHALL REMAIN THE PROPERTY OF THE OWNER OR SHALL BE
<br />DISPOSED OF IN A LEGAL MANNER BY THE ELECTRICAL CONTRACTOR, AS DIRECTED BY THE
<br />OWNER. ITEMS OF SALVAGE SHALL BE CAREFULLY REMOVED AND STORED AT LOCATIONS
<br />DIRECTED BY THE OWNER.
<br />22.ARRANGE TO WORK CONTINUOUSLY, INCLUDING OVERTIME, IF REQUIRED, TO ASSURE THAT
<br />SYSTEMS WILL BE SHUT DOWN ONLY DURING THE TIME ACTUALLY REQUIRED TO MAKE THE
<br />NECESSARY CONNECTIONS TO THE EXISTING SYSTEMS.
<br />23.WHERE WIRING IS OVERSIZED TO ACCOMMODATE VOLTAGE DROP OR OTHER FACTORS,
<br />CONTRACTOR SHALL SPLICE DOWN TO LARGEST ACCEPTABLE CONDUCTOR SIZE THE
<br />TERMINATION ALLOWS. PROVIDE JUNCTION BOXES AS REQUIRED. SPLICE SHALL BE AS CLOSE
<br />AS PRACTICABLE TO FINAL TERMINATION.
<br />24.CONTRACTOR SHALL COORDINATE INSTALLATION OF NEW UNDERGROUND WORK WITH
<br />EXISTING SUBSURFACE UTILITIES AND OBSTRUCTIONS. REROUTE AND OR RELOCATE
<br />EQUIPMENT AS REQUIRED.
