each alley, prepare of design cross sections at 25' Intervals for review of proposed crass fails, preparation <br />of sewer main replacement and lateral replacement plans, field review of all alley locations to field locate <br />existing utilities, conflicts, and john locations, Identification of sewer laterals that have been recently been <br />replaced for protection, and the detailing of all alley approaches.for ADA compliance. <br />Citywride ComprehensiveDrainage <br />_11 M, ► r t s <br />Diamond Bar, CA <br />TAITwas hired hythe Citynf Diamond Barto analyze, design and recommend <br />pavement and drainage solutions for 11 locations throughout the City which <br />currently experience groundwater seepage problems. The analysis Included <br />field investigations, geotechnical testing and reporting, pavement design, <br />and the preliminary design and cost estimating for multiple design scenarios <br />at each project location. The costestimate included estimation of the design <br />consultant fees as well as the construction costs for the ultimate design <br />scenarios. <br />Extensive coordination was required on this contract with City, Udllty; <br />LACFCD Staff, and private residences In order to understand the existing <br />conditions and to project the required design and permitting efforts for the <br />design and construction phase. Upon completion of the report, the City will <br />utilize TAIT's recommendations for future CiP budget and project planning <br />efforts in order to justifythe cost and importance of each location. <br />Harbor Boulevard Water & Street <br />Reconfiguration Project- Garden Grove, CA <br />This project Included street reconfiguration (approximately 1/3 -mile total <br />length), improvements to an existing raised median, a new traffic signal, <br />abandonment of existing 8 -inch ACP and 12 -Inch DIP City water fines, <br />Installation of a 800 LF of 16 -inch water line, relocation of SCE and AT&T <br />main distribution service lines, and the installation of new public storm <br />drains and sewer and water services to accommodate a future <br />redevelopment project along Harbor Boulevard from Palm Street to <br />Lampson Avenue in the City of Garden Grove. Engineering services required <br />extensive research, review, and a potholing program for the installation of <br />the new utilities and storm drain improvements within the existing six -lane <br />Harbor Boulevard roadway. TAIT, working with City Water Department, <br />proposed the Installation of a cut -in valve to ensure continuous water <br />service to a medical facility during the construction of the water line <br />Improvements.
