The <br />construction represented the second phase of an overall infrastructure <br />project costing $32 million, Including right-of-way acquisitions, The widening <br />project Installed new and upgraded traffic signals at four Intersections, as well <br />as a new street lighting system, As part of the Improvements, a bridge was constructed across the <br />ONSF Railway's main tracks and mechanically stabilized -earth retaining walls and drainage <br />Improvements were added. The project also moved a railroad spur track and reconstructed off -site <br />facilities. APP performed the necessary federal funding administration, ensuring compliance with <br />governmental transparency standards and the Caltrans Local Assistance Procedures Manual. The project Includes preparing <br />street rehabilitation plans, ADA compliance for existing curb ramps including <br />the design of 16 ramps at eight (8) Intersections, striping plans, specifications <br />and cost estimates (PS&E) for the rehabilitation and resurfacing of four streets <br />as part of the City's Arterial Pavement Rehabilitation Project (CIP 15109) for <br />Fiscal Years 2014-15 and 2015-2016. Funding for these Projects will provide through Measure 'M" <br />and Gas Tax funds only and Is not federally funded, The exception was Camino Capistrano from La <br />Zanja Street to Oro Road.
