Densified project control and benchmarks will be set at <br />appropriate intervals along the beginning and end of the project. <br />Topographic Mapping <br />Topographic mapping will be provided for design -level detail at a scale of 1"= 40' with one <br />(1) foot interval contours. Mapping will meet the requirements In "ASPRS Accuracy <br />Standards for Large -Scale Maps," dated March 31, 1993, and will be provided in AutoCAD <br />format Including a digital terrain model (DTM). CADD files to be provided with standard <br />Michael Baker file specifications compatible with AutoCAD Civil 3D format unless specked <br />by client. <br />Topography shall include obtaining locations, elevations, and descriptions of: <br />• Contours at one -foot intervals <br />• Spot elevations on hardscape features. <br />• Curb and gutters, sidewalks and driveways. <br />• Pavement areas including the roadway surface and cross gutters. <br />• Power poles,streetlights, traffic signals and majorsigns, overhead power lines within <br />the Right of Way. <br />• Above ground utilities including valves, pull -boxes, meters, and vaults. <br />• Manhole Rims and Inverts. <br />• All major surface features that define the shape of the terrain, such as tops and toes <br />of slopes, grade breaks and natural ground <br />• Fences and walls within the City Right of Way <br />O. Potholing. Michael Baker's subconsullant will provide potholing services, if requested by <br />the City, to identify potential utility conflicts. A preliminary allowance that includes up to five <br />(5) potholes is provided in the fee schedule. This allowance assumes (3) potholes 12 in x <br />12 in, up to 5 feet deep, and two (2) potholes 12 in x 12 in, 5-10 feet deep. <br />C Below Proposal: <br />C Below will perform (5) potholes as indicated in the client provided potholing exhibit. A <br />standard pothole is 12 in x 12 in, up to 5 feet deep, performed to the top of pipe or <br />encasement with sand backfill and a permanent surface patch. <br />Additional costs: Potholes outside of our standard will be billed based on actual depth or <br />conditions. Limitations on work hours may cause additional mobilization or traffic control <br />charges. Permitting fees will be adjusted to actual costs. <br />If C Below is not hired to mark the locations of the potholes, they will be performed off of <br />the utility provider's marks under the client's direction. Utility providers typically do not <br />mark out sewer or storm drain lines. Dry holes are considered billable.
