Peterson Park Parking Lot <br />Rehabilitation Project M Diamond luau•, CA <br />TAIT was hired by the City of Diamond Bar to analyze, design and concluct <br />construction management and Inspection services for the expansion of two <br />public park parking lots, The design services Included topographic survey, <br />gootachnlcai Investigation, water quality management design, I.os Angeles <br />County Flood Control District storm drain permit processing, and the <br />preparation of detailed PS&E for the constructicin of the park Improvements. <br />Design analysis Included addition of handicapped parking stalls, design of <br />optimal cross and longitudinal grades and the Installation of retaining curbs <br />to optimize the parking stall configuration, Ektenslve coordination between <br />the City's public works and Park Maintenance Division was required in order <br />to ensure the design was both in compliance with public works standards as <br />well as the parkdivision's ultimate master plan, <br />QC Animal Care Facility - 7' ustln, CA <br />TAIT prepared rough and precise grading plans, street plans, sewer and water <br />plans, fire water protoctlon plans, Water Quality Management Plan and the <br />Storm Water Pollution Prevention Plan fora J 0 -acre site on the former MCAS - <br />Tustin. This County of Orange project was the first Design-Bul Id project 6y the <br />County, The contract was .award in the spring of 2016 and a Rough Grading <br />Permit was,lssuad by the City of Tustin In July 2016 while the OC Animal Care <br />and the Design-Bu.lid Contractor finalized the facility ands slte Improvements. <br />As part of the Design TAIT' coordinated the project's containment wall and <br />fence locations and develop a site accessibility plan for the overall project, <br />The facility Includes a 2 -story 40,000 SF administration building with state of <br />the art veterinary facilities, six dog kennels, special cat housing quarters and <br />a small corral. Separate parking lots provide for the public and staff parldng <br />lots which repurposed nearly 1 -acre Of existing concrete tarmac. The project <br />else Includes eight stormwater bio-filtratlon basins to treat storm water <br />runoff from the site before it enters the public storm drain system.
