NTETRATECH <br />Michael Tsoi, PE <br />Well Equipping Lead <br />potable water well. This includes wellhead equipping for each well for both aboveground and <br />belowground facilities. Also included in this project was the modification to an existing non - <br />potable water well, <br />Lakewood Wells 28 and 29, City of Lakewood, Lakewood, CA —The City of Lakewood is <br />constructing one new water well expected to produce about 3,000 gpm (Well 28) and possibly a <br />second well (Well 20) to provide additional groundwater to supplement the City's water supply <br />source. The City would pump water from the new well facilities to one of the existing reservoirs. <br />Should treatment be needed for Iron, manganese or arsenic removal from the new water <br />source, the treatment facilities would likely be located at the reservoir site, The project consists <br />of preparing a well siting study end providing recommendations for the new well sites, In <br />addition, a drinking water source assessment was prepared and submitted to the Health <br />Department, for the new well, A well design report was prepared that incorporated the design <br />plans and technical specifications. The project Is scheduled to bid in late 2014 with completion <br />of Well 28 construction In 2015. Field observation during well drilling and construction Is also <br />planned as part of the scope of work. <br />Well 116 Replacement, Irvine Ranch Water District, Irvine, CA— Project, Engineer for the <br />drilling and equipping of a potable water well in the City of Irvine. This project combined the well <br />drilling and well equipping phases of the project together. Coordination with the City of Irvine <br />and The Irvine Company were required to procure the land for the well site. <br />Page 2 <br />
