v
We will prepare a report presenting the results of field exploration, geoteohnical laboratorytesting, and engineering
analyses, as well as conclusions andt`abOrnMendations relative to the project.
Deliverables:. Draft Pavement and $oil Matarlal Roport, Final Pavement Report. and ,doll Material Report,
Task 4. Survey (Options A and 81
+;
.... ......... .............................. ....... ....... ,...........
The Kimsey -Horn team will provide aerial mapping with supplemental ground surveys at a scale of I" = 20' with 50 feet
t
interval cross sectlons along streets as well as.tho, project area for pump stations, This enoom asses survey record
P
collection; establishment of horizontal and vertical controls; mohumant and centerlino tie prasarvatipn.; and establishment
Co
of temporary banohrnarks. Existing features such as utility covers, pavementtimits, private properly improvements, curb
ramps, driveways, curb andguiters, sidewalks, street lights and poles, and trafto starts and striping will be surveyed
where needed forthe proposed design and added to the base maps. Existing right-of-way will be Input per readily
available records.
'G
Deliverables; Mlcrostation V81 Files o0bpographlc Survey, XML Point File, DTM of extsting surface features.
Task 5: Hydra ullclHydrology (Option 8)
........ ....,..., ......., ............................... ... ......., .................,.,
our team wilt prepare a Drainage Reportto address hydrology end hydraulics for the site per orange County
.
f,
)iydrology Manual and Prange County Locai Drainage Manual raqulrsments and will provide design recommendations.
r
Modifications are Intended to maintain existing drainage patterns and flows. Calculations will consist of comparing the
pre- end post -project conditions at the site, Catch basins Will be Incorporated Into design, where necessary, I.e. to limit
I
flooded width, and at low points.
F .
Deliverables: Draft hydrology and hydraulic analysis and drainago report, Final hydrology and hydraulic analysis and
V t
drainage report.
t
Task 6: Water Quality (Options A and S)
Kimlay-Horn will develop a WQMP for the project in compliance with, and meeting the requirements of order. No,
z
RO-20ON030INPDES No. CAS618030, of the Santa Ana Regional Water Quality Control Board. The WQMP will
f
Incorporate low impact development best management practices to the maximum extent practical. Foroxample, the use
of bioretentlon facilities within landscaped parkway areas will be in accordance with the United States Environmental
Protection Agency Green Street standards. If proprietary items are needed, these will be Indicated in compliance with the
City's adopted public contracting code.
t
Deliverables: Draft WQMP, Final WQMP
^:
Task 7. Environmental Studies (Options A and 6)
.............................I............. .........................................................................
t
Kimley»Horn Scope of Services assumes that an Initial Study leading to a Mitigated Negative Declaration (IS/ MND) is
the appropriate CEQA documentation for the proposed project. Tha I$ will provide the necessary background. Each of
the topics contained In the Environmental Checklist will be evaluated to document the nature and extent of any potential
environmental consequences and the need for mitigation. During the preparation of the IS should it be determined that
the project could have signiflcant Impacts that cannot be fully mlilgated, we will work with the City to identify modifications
to the project that could reduce anticipated Impacts. Using the City's Initial Study Checklist, KimleyHom will respond to
each checklist question. The analysis will use the following technical studies and data prepared by our team: Traffic Impact
Study, Air Quality and Greenhouse Gas Study, Noise Study, Utilities/ Infrastructure, Geotechnical Study, Drainage, Concept
WQMP, and a Phase I Environmental Site Assessment. All other environmental topics would be studied qualitatively.
Dollverables: Initial Study leading to a Mitigated Negative Declaration (IS/MND).
Ki mlepMorn 'le TROG77025.171 City of go On Ana
