Task g: System Modeling fo Connect Well ptrectly fo Water System (Option A) Ahydraulic modeling analysis will be conducted to analyze the changed operating conditions from the existing direct discharge to a reservoir, to a dlreot:conneotiop to the City's distribution system Anew system curve will be developed and analyzed with the existing well pump curve to determine the new operating conditions of the pump, along with any Improvements necessary for the new connection Pont. The model will also be used to.analyze Impacts to other system facilities within the City's distribution system, and recommend a revised operations and control strategy, Deliverables: Draft watersystem modeing report, Final water system modeling report Task 10: Water improvement Plans (Option A) ............................. ............................... Kimley-Horn will develop a water improvement plan for rehabilitation of the existing water well and proposed water mains construction, The plans Will show horizontal and vertical design Information. Plans will be prepared at scale of V = 20' horizontal and 1" = 4'vertical for profiles. We will use the surveying from Task 4 for base mapping. Vertical design information for water main will show proposed water main profile and will Identify potential conflicts with existing underground utilities, Details and typical sections will be added as needed. We will prepare striping and Signing pians.at a scale of 1"= 40' for the proposed improvements within the limits of the project. Striping and signing plans will oomply with the City's standards, Caltrans, and the California MUTCD, Flashing beacon Installation and parking meter details; if required, will be shown on the striping and signing plans. Deliverables: 30%, 60, and Final Plans, electronlc files in Microstatfon V81 and PDF (gnat plans will be sealed and signed), and responses to previous review comments from the City. The Kimley-Horn team will prepare landscape and irrigation plans for the proposed medians and parkways within the project limits. These plans will be consistent with the City's Standards and General Plan, the City's Scenic Corridor Elements, the City's Urban Design Elements, and California's Water Efficient Landscape Ordinance. We will consider City maintenance when developing the design.
