We emphasize project management using bl-monthly' <br />t <br />effort reports that give our project managers up-to-date -staffing and expense information related to their projects. This <br />t <br />information enables them to continuousiy monitor the status of project cost, cost control effectiveness, and. schedule. <br />- <br />Schedule Adherence; Meeting schedules and budgets is a high priority for K msey-Horn: Critical elements In maintaining <br />-, <br />schedules and achieving work goals include a clear definftion of the responsibilities of team members and ongoing <br />communication of project needs: We are well sulted to manage and administer upcoming projects for the City, and are <br />I <br />1 <br />prepared to commit the necessary resources so projects are completed within your timeframe and budget. <br />On the rare occasion that a project requires a schedule correction due to a delay on Kimley-Horn's part, we utilize an <br />t <br />aggressive system with regional support to quickly gat the project back on track and avoid impacts to our cllent's overall <br />project schedule. This includes the Involvement of regional management to commit additional resources from within the <br />office and from around the firm if necessary. Once the correction is made, follow-ups are performed by all team members <br />Involved to make sure the project remains on schedule at no additional cost to the City, During this process, the project <br />manager and key regional team members work closely with City personnel to confirm dollverables meet the Cfty'$ <br />expectations included within our scope of work. <br />y <br />Community Engagement; Community engagement at various points during the project allow participants to voice <br />their opinion on the design process, The Kimley-Horn team believes outreach materials (including, but not limited to, <br />presentations, graphics, and exhibits) required for community engagement activities must be created in a meaningful <br />and strategic way, All community engagement activities will be tum-key (i.e. we will provide set-up/breakdown, materials/ <br />supplies, easels, refreshments, etc.), allowing City staff to focus on the issues, not logistics, Kimley-Horn will provide <br />outreach collateral such as flyers, and press releases prforio community engagement activities and coordinate with <br />y <br />the City's public Information officer. in order to optimally engage public stakeholders, the Kimley-Hom team will provide <br />$ <br />translation headsets and, Spanish-speaking engineers at each public Informational meeting.
