<br />geometric and transportotion design services to complete this this roadway
<br />project that will greatiylmprove pedestrian safety, bicycle connectivity, and
<br />overall vehicular and multimodal operations. The project includes four distinct
<br />elements including streetscape enhancements, improvements to the PGH
<br />intersection, traffic calming elements, and bicycle and pedestrian improvements
<br />Critical services we are providing include urban design (landscaping/hardscape
<br />design Including raised, medians, Islands; decorative pavement treatments,
<br />sidewalks and crosswalks, and planting and irrigation), complete streets design,
<br />pavement rehabilitation, and Caltrans approval and permitting.
<br />WARNER AVENUE WIDENING AND IMPROVEMENTS, SANTA ANA, CA
<br />Landscape architect for the final PS&E`to widen over 1,600 linear feet of Warner
<br />Avenue from Main Street to Oak Strut. The project converts the roadway
<br />from a four lane undivided arterial to a six -lane divided arterial to conform
<br />to the City and County arterials master,plan. The six lane arterial Includes
<br />curb separated Type IV bike lane which will serve to connect two Type I bike
<br />lane facilities including the Pacific Electric Bicycle Trail. The project includes
<br />landscape improvements and permanent water quality improvement features
<br />within new medians and parkway areas. A key component of this project was
<br />the introduction of low water use and low maintenance plants and Irrigation,
<br />and enhancing the overall aesthetics of the corridor, Responsibilities included
<br />development of.conceptual landscape plan and final design of plantings and
<br />irrigation.
<br />US 101 HOV & REHABILITATION PROJECTS, SANTA BARBARA, CA
<br />Landscape architect for this $300M, 4.5,mile HOV widening and pavement
<br />rehabilitation project. Project elements include reconstruction of two
<br />Interchanges with left -lane off -ramps, pavement rehabilitation, replacement of
<br />three bridges of FEMA -regulated creeks, retaining walls along the sea oliff, and
<br />sound walls.

<br />INFRASTRUCTURE IMPROVEMENTS PROJECT, FRESNO, CA
<br />Project manager leading the bicycle planning and design for improvements to
<br />12.9 miles of Golden State Boulevard, The goals of the project are to revitalize
<br />and improve the corridor and stimulate economic development. The project
<br />includes reconfiguring medians; turn pockets, improvements to at -grade
<br />UPRR crossings, and intersection modifications to Improve traffic safety and
<br />operations, and extensive pavement rehabilitation.
