<br />Arroyo Siam Lift Station, Moorpark, California. Ventura County, Construction Manager,
<br />Responsible for construction management. Michael Baker provided engineering design for the
<br />replacement of an undersized sewer lift station in a high-growth area in the City of Moorpark.
<br />Michael Baker prepared the preliminary design report to Identify the conceptual design, key
<br />issues, and design parameters for the new lift station. Michael Baker designed the new 11.8 -
<br />million -gallon -per -day lift station to meet current and future sewer flows in a rapidly expanding
<br />residential area. Additionally, the pump selection accounted for a future parallel force sewer
<br />main. Michael Baker prepared electrical plans, specifications, and cost estimates for the 35 -foot -
<br />deep lift station, which included a motor control center, new piping, surge tank, lighting,
<br />emergency backup power generator, and other site improvements, Additional construction
<br />management services included providing shop drawing review and responses to contractor
<br />requests for information.
<br />Deerhill Pump Station, Oak Park, California. Ventura Regional Sanitation District.
<br />Construction Manager. Responsible for construction management. Michael Baker designed a
<br />new booster pump station for recycled water. The station was located in a below -grade structure
<br />and included a motor control center, retaining walls, and off-site piping improvements. The
<br />station was designed to minimize visual and noise impacts to nearby residences. Michael Baker
<br />prepared a detailed landscape plan to hide above -grade facilities with the natural hillside. The
<br />hydraulic design included studying transient pressures in the upstream and downstream closed
<br />system.

<br />Michael Baker served as program manager for a design -build -operate -finance (DBOF) project
<br />for the City of Beverly Hills that consisted of a 3.0 -million -gallons -per -day reverse osmosis
<br />treatment facility, five production wells, transmission main, and public works offices and
<br />departments, such as painting room, parking meter coin collection center, and machine shop.
<br />Michael Baker was responsible for overseeing the preparation of all documents required to
<br />execute a DBOF contract and completion of preliminary facility design, construction
<br />management, and construction inspection.

<br />Pipeline 2A and 2B Project - Construction Management, Corona, Norco, and Riverside,

<br />construction management. Michael Baker provided public works construction management,
<br />construction inspection, program management, and design services for Improvements to a
<br />water treatment plant, 25,000 linear feet of 30 -inch ductile iron pipe, and 25,000 linear feet of
<br />30 -inch steel pipeline in the cities of Corona, Norco, and Riverside, California, to provide potable
<br />water to the Western Riverside County area with facilities proposed north and east of the I-
<br />15/S.R. 91 interchange.
