<br />active transportation projects:
<br />the Boyle Heights Linkage
<br />Project Description (ATP 2) and
<br />the Arts District Pedestrian/
<br />Cyclist Improvement Project
<br />(ATP 3). The goal of ATP 2 is to
<br />Improve pedestrian safety and
<br />access to the City of Los Angeles'
<br />Sixth Street Viaduct and Sixth
<br />Street PARC Projects, specifically
<br />aiming to Improve the pedestrian
<br />circumstances for users of the
<br />Aliso Pico Recreation Center,
<br />Pecan Recreation Center, and
<br />Boyle Heights Technology Youth
<br />Center. The project will directly
<br />benefit the adjacent tow -income
<br />and senior housing community
<br />near 4th Street and Clarence
<br />Street. The ATP 3 Project will
<br />provide pedestrian and cyclist
<br />Improvements Including new cycle
<br />tracks, bike lanes, bike routes,
<br />new and widened sidewalks
<br />with curb extensions, new traffic
<br />controlled intersections, a new
<br />shared street connecting to the
<br />new Sixth Street Viaduct Arts
<br />Plaza, as well as green street
<br />elements. The goal of these
<br />two Caltrans Local Assistance
<br />Program funded projects Is to
<br />Increase the mobility and safety
<br />for non -motorized users to
<br />achieve the regional agency's
<br />greenhouse gas reduction goals,
<br />and aid in the enhancement of
<br />the public's health. Tetra Tech is
<br />currently preparing the Pre -Design
<br />Reports for both the ATP 2 and
<br />ATP 3 project.

<br />Mission Road and Huntington
<br />Drive Bridge Removal and
<br />Street Improvement Project,

<br />was responsible for overseeing
<br />engineering design support
<br />services during construction
<br />including RFls, review of shop
<br />drawings, geotechnical engineering
<br />support, respondingto requested
<br />design changes, and preparing
<br />as-bullts for the Soto Street Bridge
<br />over Mission Road and Huntington
<br />Drive Bridge Removal and Street
<br />Improvement Project.

<br />responsible for overseeing design
<br />services for a multi -use pathway
<br />Including completing the California
<br />Environmental Quality Act (CEQA)
<br />and National Environmental
<br />Policy Act (NEPA) processes,
<br />right-of-way acquisition, permits,
<br />construction documents and
<br />grant administration. The ultimate
<br />goal of the pathway network is
<br />to provide connectivity between
<br />Templeton and Atescadero,
<br />facilitating safe and attractive
<br />transportation between these two
<br />towns and encouraging alternative
<br />transportation modes.
<br />Bike/Pedestrian Path for Los
<br />Angeles River Greenway,
<br />City of Los Angeles, Los
<br />Angeles, CA. Project Director.
<br />Project Director responsible for
<br />overseeingthe preparation of
<br />PS&E for a new bikepath along
<br />the Los Angeles River channel
<br />from Winnetka Avenue to Mason
<br />Avenue. The proposed bikepath
<br />was located inside the channel,
<br />requiring modifications to the
<br />25F-53
<br />channel cross section and
<br />retaining wall design. Tetra Tech
<br />prepared a 2-D hydraulic model
<br />to study the effects the new
<br />section would have an waving and
<br />ramping patterns, in accordance
<br />with the Army Corps of Engineers
<br />requirements. The project also
<br />Included bikeway plans and
<br />profiles, signing and striping,
<br />lighting plans, and decorative
<br />path construction. Tetra Tech also
<br />provided construction support
<br />services.
<br />Shell Beach Road Streetscape
<br />Phase I Project, City of
<br />Pismo Beach, Pismo Beach,
<br />CA,Project Manager, Project
<br />Manager for the design of a
<br />"total street" reconstruction of
<br />1S blocks of Shell Beach Road
<br />In the City of Pismo Beach. The
<br />project entails incorporating a
<br />new Class 1 Bikeway along an
<br />existing Caltrans right-of-way
<br />(Highway 101). In addition, the
<br />project alms to replace aging
<br />utilities, Including: a new 12"
<br />water line, new 12" reclaimed
<br />water line, undergrounding power
<br />and comm. lines, and new storm
<br />drain Improvements. The project
<br />will incorporate new way -finding
<br />and streetscape enhancements
<br />Including: pavement
<br />enhancements at crosswalks and
<br />Intersections, full ADA compliance,
<br />street furniture and landscape
<br />improvements (Incorporating Low
<br />Impact Development techniques).
