Lincoln Avenue Pedestrian Pathway Connectivity i Park Lane to Santiago Creek <br />Review plans for completeness and consistency <br />with the design; <br />Resolve design issues; <br />Recommend wall surface treatments/aesthetics <br />options; <br />Check the corrected plans for conformance with <br />prior comments; <br />t Review the PROJECT special provisions <br />to ensure all Items of work are adequately <br />addressed, and <br />Prepare Quantity calculations, <br />SPECIFICATIONS <br />Tetra Tech will prepare complete contract <br />specifications based on City of Santa Ana Special <br />Provision, and the Standard Specifications for <br />Public Works Construction (Green book 2012). <br />Structural construction documents will follow <br />the latest Caltrans Standard Specifications <br />(Currently 2015). A list of contract pay Items with <br />the descriptions, and estimated quantities will be <br />included in the front of the special provisions in the <br />bid schedule and a definition of bid items defining <br />each pay Item In this schedule will be provided. <br />The Special provisions will be prepared in Microsoft <br />Word and the City will provide the boilerplate <br />special provisions to the Consultant, Tetra Tech will <br />Identify any -recommended changes to these special <br />provisions that may be relevant to the success of <br />this project, It is expected that within the Boilerplate <br />specifications, a Definition of Bid Items In addition <br />to the Bid Proposal Schedule will be provided, <br />COST ESTIMATE <br />Tetra Tech will prepare a quantity calculations and <br />cost estimates for all items that are applicable to <br />this project, Quantities for all contract pay items will <br />be substantiated by calculations and provided In a <br />be neat and orderly fashion showing all sketches, <br />diagrams, and dimensions necessary to allow them <br />to be used by field Inspectors during construction. <br />All quantity calculations will be checked during our <br />QA/QC process prior to each of the 90% and 100% <br />PS&E submittals. <br />REQUIRED SAFETY TRAININGS & <br />PPE <br />Tetra Tech will Identify and obtain all the trainings <br />for any staff encroaching into the work area <br />as required and obtain necessary Personal <br />Protection Equipment (PPE) for affected personnel. <br />Arrangement for PPE and any other required <br />training events will be in conjunction with the Clty's <br />availability so that the Design Team and City staff <br />can jointly participate, at no cost to the City, to <br />ensure that their PPE approvals are brought up -to. <br />date. Tetra Tech will also arrange any other safety <br />tralnings as required related to the Intended project <br />scope and requirements. <br />CONSTRUCTION DOCUMENT <br />SUBMITTAL. FORMAT <br />Tetra Tech will provide the 90% PS&E documents <br />for review and approval of the level that includes <br />required independent design checks.
