PROPOSAL TO PROVIDE FIRE/EMS EMERGENCY TRANSPORTATION & RELATED SERVICES <br />CITY OF SANTA ANA <br />Bill directs and coordinates all activities of Care's ambulance operations to optimize use of <br />equipment, facilities and personnel. Bill frequently acts as Care's representative before <br />government commissions or regulatory bodies as it relates to ambulance operations and is the <br />current Vice President of the Ambulance Association of Orange County. <br />Working with other Care Managers, Bill has participated in the development of Care's <br />ambulance transport programs for the Cities of Santa Ana, Westminster, San Clemente, La <br />Habra, Anaheim, Buena Park, Costa Mesa, Fullerton, Garden Grove, County of Los Angeles and <br />the Orange County Fire Authority, <br />Ben Baker — Director of Communications and Deployment <br />Ambulance Deployment Management and Communication Center supervision is provided by <br />Ben Baker. Ben is responsible for Care Ambulance's Deployment Planning and optimal crew <br />staffing. Ben monitors contractual compliance for our service areas, including quality indicators <br />for continued improvement. Ben is a currently credentialed EMT and a retired Police Officer. <br />Ben plays a pivotal role in Care's day-to-day performance. Ben is an industry leader in <br />maximizing the capabilities of our EMS computer-aided dispatching system and Electronic <br />Patient Care Record (ePCR) systems. <br />Rob Viera - Orange County Operations Division Manager <br />Rob Viera was promoted to the Orange County Division Manager position in 2005. He <br />supervises all Orange County ambulance operations and is directly responsible for the oversight <br />of EMS supplies and his Division's Daily Operations Managers. <br />Rob is tasked with the establishment of agency relationships in the EMS system and acts as a <br />liaison for Care Ambulance to area fire department partners. As part of his duties Rob also <br />coordinates and documents the local operating area and the Region 1 ambulance response for <br />emergency incidents. <br />Jeff Talmage — Santa Ana Administrative Manager <br />Daily supervision and oversight of Care's specific operations in the City of Santa Ana is provided <br />by Jeff Talmage. Prior to accepting employment with Care, Jeff was a paramedic with the Santa <br />Ana Fire Department and for the last 16 years served as the City's Paramedic Coordinator. Jeff <br />has more than 33 years of experience in the City of Santa Ana and within the Orange County <br />EMS system. Jeff is a seasoned, system veteran that truly understands the EMS needs for the <br />City of Santa Ana. <br />RFP # 18-059— CARE AMBULANCE SERVICE 35 <br />
