The policy then will be communicated to the <br />staff the electronicbulletin board ^PR + and Annual <br />Mandatory Traini <br />New Employee Training and Orientation <br />Because a new employee's most important learning takes place, and good work habits <br />develop, during the formal training process, Care Ambulance uses a 190 -hour <br />organized structure and rigid training format. <br />The Field Training and Evaluation Program (FTEP) is the process in which new hires <br />are trained and evaluated to ensure their maximum potential and opportunity for <br />success as they begin their career with Care Ambulance. The program consists of <br />multiple phases and decision points that will be used to determine how the new trainee <br />will proceed. Success is defined when the trainee has progressed through the program <br />to a point in which he or she is working independently and is satisfactorily performing <br />according to the Care standard evaluation guidelines and other performance metrics. <br />The FTEP program begins once the employee has successfully completed the hiring <br />process and has accepted employment with Care Ambulance Service. <br />Phase 0 <br />13 <br />
