City of Santa Ana <br />configure the SIMS system to enable this feature on all <br />Contractor radios enabled on the 800 MHz C.C.C.S.; and <br />iv. All Contractor 800MHz mobile radios must meet OCFA, <br />OCC, ECC, 800 MHz C.C.C.S., and OCEMS specifications <br />and requirements. <br />B. Mobile Data Computer System <br />Contractors must <br />install and <br />maintain, at their sole <br />cost and <br />expense, an OCFA <br />approved <br />and issued mobile data <br />radio at <br />Contractors' dispatch <br />center for <br />purposes of sending and <br />receiving <br />electronic emergency <br />dispatch <br />information, instructions, <br />and call <br />status. Contractors must <br />comply <br />with the following mobile data radio <br />system requirements: <br />i. MDC Radio <br />Upon the award of a contract and prior to the Effective <br />Date, Contractors must pay OCFA a onetime, non-refundable <br />communications start-up fee of $3,500, which shall cover the <br />following: (a) OCFA-issued and owned mobile data radio; (b) <br />OCFA-issued mobile data application software; (c) mobile data <br />installation; (d) mobile data programming; and (e) Mobile Data <br />Radio and antenna to be installed at the Contractor's expense, <br />as specified by OCFA. All communications equipment issued to <br />Contractors by OCFA pursuant to this Section shall remain the <br />property of OCFA. The communications systems described in <br />this Section must be installed and fully operational prior to the <br />Effective Date.
