(9) <br />City of Santa Ana <br />not in compliance with the response time requirements set forth in this <br />Section may result in the OCFA assessing the non-compliant Contractor <br />with a monetary penalty according to the following compliance and fine <br />schedule: <br />Quarterly Responses That Are In <br />Compliance with Response Time <br />Requirements: Penalty Imposed*: <br />90% or Better None <br />85%-89.9% $5,000 <br />80%-84.9% $7,000 <br />Less than 79.9% $10,000 <br />* Note: Penalties are for Code 2 / Code 3 reported separately and <br />calculated separately. <br />In addition to the above response time penalties, the OCFA may assess <br />monetary penalties against Contractor for the following: <br />i. Turned Call Penalties <br />Any calls for service that are not handled by the Contractor through <br />the First Tier or Mutual Aid Service, that require OCFA to request <br />service from another ambulance service operator, will result in the <br />assessment of a 'Turned Call" penalty in the amount of $1,000 per <br />occurrence. Contractor is to immediately notify the OCFA EMS Chief <br />of said occurrence within 24 hours.
