B, Lighting Design <br />Our company offers lighting design services for every project. This step of the process is critical and <br />features the following; <br />Our design team will thoroughly review the information collected by our auditor so that we can better <br />understand the existing lighting system, <br />• Upon review, we will prepare a proposal to provide the client with a detalled financial analysis and our <br />recommended LED lighting & controls to be installed. <br />Our team will designtane or more options based on the following general guidelines and/or goals for <br />each facility; <br />o Match or improve current light quality and output <br />o specify LED retraft kits where possible and new LED fixtures. when retrofit kits are not the <br />desired option. <br />a if operating hours are extremely low, or the fixture cannot economically be replaced with a new <br />fixture or retrofit kit, we will typically specify "Type A" TLED lamps with new ballasts, <br />Our process Includes design of the proper lighting controls <br />technology, This step is frequentlyeveriooked by many <br />competitors, but It has been shown that when properly designed <br />and installed, lighting controls can reduce buildings' energy use <br />by an additional 24.39%. Our process Includes the use of <br />occupancy, dayllght, and dimming controls when appropriate. <br />We have our own inhouse CALTCP certified Acceptance <br />Technician to ensure that the system complies with state or <br />local energy codes, <br />If a customer has specific illumination standards that must be met, we have in-house ability to design a <br />system based upon accurate photometric predictions for light levels. <br />o ERC's certified lighting designer utilizes AG132 Ughting Software, the industry standard for <br />accurately calculating both interior <br />and exterior light levels, - <br />o The customer's existing lighting <br />fixture schedule along with CAD <br />drawings are collected, and the <br />information is then input into the <br />AGI32 software, The software <br />allows our designer to simulate the <br />new illumination levels with the <br />proposed LED fixture. <br />o Our designer can then select the <br />appropriate LED fixture that <br />produces the Customer's required foot candle measurements, <br />• Value Engineering is a key component of our process. We believe there is always great opportunity in <br />the LED lighting to Identify materials and construction techniques to reduce project cost without <br />compromising the quality, aesthetics, or reliability of the new LED system.
