<br />• Garfield Rehabilitation and ADA Improvements Project (Federally
<br />Funded), Alhambra ($2m). Provided CM/Resident Engineer,
<br />Inspector, Office Engineer Services. Project was inspected and
<br />managed in compliance with Caltrans Local Assistance Procedures
<br />Manual.
<br />• Main Street Rehabilitation, from West to East City Limit Project, City of
<br />Alhambra ($3m). Provided CM/Resident Engineer, Inspector, Office
<br />Engineer Services. Project was Inspected and managed in
<br />compliance with Caltrans Local Assistance Procedures Manual.
<br />• CSUSB (Cal State SS University) San Bernardino Main Access Road:
<br />Prepared PS&E and provided construction administration for the
<br />project. Cost $5m.
<br />• City of Commerce, Rosewood Community Center. Transtech was
<br />retained by the City to take over the management of this multimillion
<br />dollar facility which was 2 years behind schedule. Within 5 months,
<br />Transtech brought the construction to substantial completion level
<br />allowing the City to start the move -in process, and 2 months after, the
<br />facility was opened to public use. Currently, Transtech is assisting the
<br />City in claims analysis and change order resolution. Construction
<br />Cost: $15m.
<br />• City of Alhambra Downtown Revitalization Program: Involved 11
<br />projects, including Renaissance Plaza (multi-plex theater, public plaza
<br />with fountain and unique art features, restaurants, retail, 800 space
<br />parking structure), Fremont Plaza (modifications/reconstruction of
<br />existing buildings for lease by ToysRUs and Party City, construction of
<br />a new 30,000 SF store for PetSmart, and various other retail buildings)
<br />and Downtown Revitalization (modification/upgrade of existing
<br />buildings for Starbucks, 4 Restaurants and various retail businesses).
<br />(Cost: $80m).
<br />• City of Alhambra 4 parking structures: Transtech served as turn -key
<br />project manager, including management of design, construction,
<br />building plan check and inspection, federal funds, labor compliance for
<br />4 parking structure projects. Chapel: 4 stories, 300 space structure;
<br />First Street: 4 stories, 276 space structure; Garfield: 5 stories, 800
<br />space structure. Cost $15m; North First Street Mosaic: 5 stories, 320
<br />space structure, Cost $6m.
<br />Civil Engineering Experience
<br />1-710 Freeway Interim Improvements and Fremont Widening and
<br />Reconstruction: Transtech provided Turn -key Services, including
<br />Program Management, Construction Management, Design,
<br />Surveying, Right -of -Way Engineering, and Environmental. The project
<br />included major roadway improvements, removalldemolition of various
<br />buildings for additional right-of-way and reconstruction of buildings
<br />behind new right-of-way, traffic signals, infrastructure, utilities,
<br />pavement, drainage, water, sewer, landscape, street lighting, traffic
<br />signal, pavement improvements. Project was funded by Federal
<br />Funds, and was managed and inspected in compliance with Caltrans
<br />Local Assistance Procedures Manual. (Cost $15m).
