Responsibility Timing <br />Monitor <br />(Signature <br />Required) <br />(Date of <br />Compliance) <br />not intended to directly serve <br />Fashion Square traffic. <br />Widening of the Main Street <br />Entrance will mitigate the <br />effect of increased traffic <br />(primarily east-west direction) <br />created by expansion of the <br />shopping center. <br />MM 5.6-6: Provide for <br />installation of two new traffic <br />signals on La Veta Avenue at <br />Bedford Road and the off-ramp <br />from the southbound Rte. 57 <br />Freeway. <br />In order to facilitate access to <br />Fashion Square from the Rte. <br />57 Freeway a traffic signal will <br />be needed on Bristol Street/La <br />Veta at the off-ramp location. <br />Presently, this intersection is <br />controlled only by stop signs <br />and a left turn from the off- <br />ramp to La Veta Avenue <br />involves considerable delay. <br />This off-ramp provides a <br />convenient route to Fashion <br />Square and allows southbound <br />freeway traffic to avoid <br />congestion encountered at the <br />Not applicable: Final EIR Mitigation Measure <br />5.6-6 was previously implemented.
