APPROVE AN APPROPRIATION ADJUSTMENT AND AN AGREEMENT WITH <br />CALIFORNIA PROFESSIONAL ENGINEERING, INC., FOR STREET LIGHTING <br />MAINTENANCE IN AN AMOUNT NOT TO EXCEED $2,259,684 {STRATEGIC <br />PLAN NO. 6, 1C} – Public Works Agency <br /> <br /> RECOMMENDED ACTION: <br /> <br />1. Approve an appropriation adjustment. (Requires five affirmative votes). <br /> <br />APPROPRIATION ADJUSTMENT NO. 2020–036 - Recognizing $1,167,684.14 from <br />the prior year fund balance in the General Fund, for Street Light Maintenance and <br />Repair Improvements. <br /> <br />2. Authorize the City Manager to execute an agreement with California <br />Professional Engineering, Inc., to provide street lighting systems maintenance <br />services, for a three-year period beginning October 2, 2019, and expiring October <br />1, 2022, with provision for two one-year extensions exercisable by the City <br />Manager and City Attorney, in an amount not to exceed $2,259,684, the sum is <br />comprised of $1,259,684 for the first year of the agreement and $250,000 annually, <br />including any extension periods, subject to non-substantive changes approved <br />by the City Manager and City Attorney (Agreement No. A-2019-XXX). <br /> <br /> <br />20D. APPROVE APPROPRIATION ADJUSTMENT ACCEPTING BUREAU OF <br />RECLAMATION WATERSMART GRANT FUNDS FOR THE WELL 32 <br />IMPROVEMENTS PROJECT IN THE AMOUNT OF $750,000 (NONGENERAL <br />FUND) {STRATEGIC PLAN NO. 6, 1} – Public Works Agency <br /> <br /> RECOMMENDED ACTION: Approve an appropriation adjustment. (Requires <br />five affirmative votes). <br /> <br />APPROPRIATION ADJUSTMENT NO. 2020–037 - Accepting Bureau of Reclamation <br />WaterSMART grant funds in the amount of $750,000 into the Public Works Water Quality <br />& Control Fund, Miscellaneous Revenue, Federal Grant–Direct revenue account and <br />appropriating the same amount into the Public Works Water Quality & Control, <br />WaterSMART-Watershed Management Program, Improvements Other Than Building <br />expenditure account. <br /> <br /> <br />20E.
