APPENDIX <br />ATTACHMENT I — SCOPE OF WORK <br />b, Personnel <br />The Contractor warrants that all persons employed to provide service under this contract have <br />satisfactory past work- records indicating their ability to accept the kind of responsibility required <br />under this contract.Contractor shalt provide personnel that has been trained for performance of <br />the specified services. Contractor must provide supervision of personnel at all times. <br />Supervisors must speak English and have been trained in supervision as well as in providing <br />janitorial services. <br />Contractor shall provide the City's Contract Administrator or their authorized representative an <br />accurate list of all employees who have any relationship to work performed within the scope of <br />this contract, prior to an employee starting work on City property, Charges to the list shall be <br />reported in writing to the Contract Administrator or his/her authorized representative within one <br />working day. Employees terminated by the Contractor shall be reported the same day to the <br />Contract Administrator or their authorized representative. If a Contractor's employee is <br />terminated after normal business hours, the next business morning is acceptable. <br />Contractor personnel shall not be assisted nor accompanied by any individual that is not an <br />employee of the Contractor while performing duties related to the contract. This includes, but is <br />not limited to friends, children and/or other relatives. Employees of the Contractor that violate <br />this stipulation shall be deemed objectionable to the City and shall not be allowed to work in <br />City facilities. <br />Contractor must not allow its personnel to enter the City promises while under the influence of <br />drugs, alcohol, nor use or possess drugs or alcohol while on City premises and performing <br />services under this contract. Should any Contractor employee be deemed Unacceptable to the <br />City for any reason, City may notify Contractor and request the removal of the personrict <br />involved and replacement must be provided, The City shall have the right to require the removal <br />and replacement of Contractor's personnel under the awarded contract, The City shall notify the <br />contractor in writing of such action. The City is not required to provide any reason, rationale or <br />additional factual infbrination, if it elects to request any specific employee be removed frorn <br />performing services under rho awarded contract, <br />The Contractor shall ensure sufficient staffing levels to provide the services described herein. <br />Should Contractor personnel fail to report for this or her shift, the Contractor must provide a <br />replacement within, two hours. <br />Criminal Background Certification: Contractor certifies that all employees working on this <br />contract have had a criminal background check at Contractor's cost and that. said employees are <br />clear of any sexual and drug -related convictions. Contractor further certifies that all employees <br />hired by Contractor or Subcontractor shall be free from any felony convictions, City reserves the <br />right to require Contractor to pay fingerprinting fees for personnel assigned to work in sensitive <br />areas. <br />Standards of Conduct: Contractor's personnel shall be courteous and maintain good working <br />relationships with all stakeholders, state or outside agencies, other team members and staff within <br />City of Santa Ana RFP 13-074 <br />Attachment 1 (Page 2 of 7) <br />25B-14 <br />
