This background provides him with an In-depth understanding <br />of civil engineering disciplines. His professional responsibilities have ranged <br />from feasibility study, geotechnieai, civil design, complex drainage design and <br />regulatory requirements, technical specifications development and preparation <br />of bid documents, design/construotability review, schedule preparation, field <br />Implementation and supervision, and construction management. <br />Relevant Experience <br />Resident Engineer, Mid -Basin Injection: Centennial Park Project; Santa <br />Ana, CA; Orange County Water District (Completion: 2018; Value: $23.2 <br />million) —The Mid -Basin Injection project consists of the construction of the <br />following: four groundwater injection wells in below grade vaults; a monitoring <br />well at the Heritage Museum site; a purified recycled water injection supply <br />pipeline approximately 5,000 feet long that connects to the District's existing <br />Groundwater Replenishment System (GWRS) pipeline and crosses the Santa <br />Ana River; a backflush discharge pipeline approximately 4,000 feet long that <br />discharges to the Greenville -Banning Channel and Centennial Park Lake; <br />installation of submersible pumps within the four injection wells; replacement <br />of approximately 9.6 acres of paving within the Park; demolishing an existing <br />City of Santa Ana restroom facility; and constructing two new buildings with <br />Shared City and District uses. Mr. Burce is coordinating closely with the City <br />of Santa Ana, Santa Ana Unified School District, Heritage Museum, and state <br />and federal agencies. <br />Resident Engineer, Chino II Well Field Equipping of Raw Water Wells <br />Nos. I1-10 and 11.11; Eastvale and Ontario, CA; (Chino Basin Desalter <br />Authority (Completion: 2017; Value: $3.8 million) —Mr. Burce provided <br />resident engineering services for Well Nos. II-10 and II-11. Well II-10 is <br />located on CDA property in the City of Eastvale within Riverside County, Well <br />II-11 (Lot "A") is located on CDA property in the City of Ontario within San <br />Bernardino County. The scope of work included equipping of two water wells <br />Including, but not limited to, the following: construction of 16'8" W x 41'4"L x <br />16"H reinforced masonry block building; installation of 3,300 gpm vertical <br />turbine stainless steel pumping unit and 600 hp premium efficiency motor, <br />16-Inch diameter epoxy lined steel discharge header pipe, 12-Inch diameter <br />PUMP to waste piping, 16-inch diameter flow meter, site pressure piping and <br />tubing, valves, taps and Corp stops, pressure gages, 16-Inch diameter C905 <br />PVC underground discharge pipeline, and connection to existing 24-inch <br />
