City of Santa Ana <br />The City will establish a proposal review committee to evaluate proposals based on the <br />response to the RFP, which includes adherence to outlined directions and format, and <br />the City evaluation criteria set forth above. <br />A final score will be calculated for each submitted proposal and used to rank the <br />Proposers. The City shall not be obligated to accept the lowest priced proposal, but will <br />make an award in the best interests of the City of Santa Ana after all factors have been <br />evaluated. <br />3.3 CONDITIONS FOR PROPOSAL ACCEPTANCE: <br />This RFP does not commit the City to award a contract or to pay any costs incurred for <br />any services. The City, at its sole discretion, reserves the right to accept or reject any <br />or all Proposals received as a result of this RFP, to negotiate with any qualified <br />source(s), or to cancel this RFP in part or in its entirety. The City may waive any <br />irregularity in any Proposal. All Proposals will become the property of the City of Santa <br />Ana. If any proprietary information is contained in the Proposal, it should be clearly <br />identified. <br />4.0 CONTRACT ADMINISTRATION: <br />The Executive Director of Finance & Management Services of the City of Santa Ana, or <br />his or her designee, shall be the authorized representative in all matters pertaining to <br />the RFP process. The contract awarded pursuant to this RFP for the provision of <br />ambulance & paramedic billing and collection services shall be administered by the <br />Executive Director of Finance & Management Services of the City, or his or her <br />designee. <br />4.1 CONTRACT MODIFICATION AND AMENDMENTS: <br />Once a contract has been awarded and executed, the parties may adjust the specific <br />terms of the Contract Documents from time to time where circumstances beyond the <br />City of Santa Ana Page 110 <br />Ambulance & Paramedic and Collection Services <br />Request for Proposals: # 19-083 <br />September 13, 2019 <br />25B-33 <br />
