Nate Schreiner <br />FIRST STREET PEDESTRIAN IMPROVEMENTS PS&E <br />RFP NO.: 10-110 <br />John Wayne Airport, Airport -Wide Certified Access Specialist <br />Assessment, Santa Ana, CA. Mr. Schreiner served as project manager <br />for an accessibility assessment of John Wayne Airport. This included <br />coordinating and obtaining security clearance for all field assessment <br />team members, developing the project budget and schedule, <br />programming the portions of the airport to be included in the assessment, <br />managing the day-to-day activities of the staff, which included a Certified <br />Access Specialist (CASp), and serving as the point -of -contact with the <br />client. The field assessment finished ahead of schedule even with the <br />restrictive security requirements of working in an airport. Mr. Schreiner <br />also performed reviews of all the deliverables including the assessment <br />report and assessment maps. <br />Caruthers Park Stormwater and Urban Runoff Capture Project, <br />Bellflower, CA. Project Manager. Mr. Schreiner is serving as the project <br />manager duringthe bidding and construction administration phases of <br />this large-scale stormwater project to capture, infiltrate and reuse urban <br />runoff collected from County drainage facilities adjacent to the park. The <br />project was planned as part of the Los Cerritos Channel (LCC) watershed <br />and the Lower San Gabriel River (LSGR) Watershed Management Programs <br />(WMPs). Caruthers Park was identified as a potential high priority site for <br />a regional stormwater capture project for non-stormwater runoff as well <br />as first -flush runoff from wet weather events. The project components <br />include site improvements, a diversion structure to divert water from <br />the flood control channel, a pretreatment structure to remove trash and <br />debris from the runoff, an underground structure to infiltrate and store the <br />water that will be treated for landscape irrigation use, and piping systems. <br />City of Los Angeles Department of General Services, City of Los <br />Angeles Department of Transportation Communications Hub <br />Replacement, Los Angeles, CA. Project Manager for the replacement of <br />Department of Transportation communication hub enclosures around <br />the City of Los Angeles. The hubs and enclosures house critical electrical <br />equipment necessary to control the traffic signals in the surrounding <br />area. The existing hubs are reaching their useful service life and require <br />replacement across the City. Mr. Schreiner led the civil engineering design <br />and managed the structural engineeringteam to remove the existing <br />enclosure and replace with a new enclosures and foundations. The <br />project required permitting with the City of LA Department of Building and <br />Safety (LADBS).
