ARTICLE 5 <br />OTHER SERVICES <br />5.1 Services and Customer Billing <br />5.1.1 Residential Curbside Service Unit Billing <br />Contractor shall establish rates for its provision of services for Residential Curbside <br />Service Unit Customers pursuant to this Agreement. Such rates shall in no case exceed <br />those set forth in the approved rate schedule. The City shall collect on behalf of the <br />Contractor the rates established by the Contractor for said services. Rates collected and <br />paid to the Contractor shall be based on the total number of Residential Curbside <br />Service Units billed by the City for curbside service during that month, less City fees <br />described in Article 3. City shall make billing records available to Contractor upon <br />reasonable notice for the purpose of auditing such records. <br />Remittance to Contractor of payments collected by the City for curbside service shall be <br />on a monthly basis. <br />5.1.2 Senior and Mobile Home Low Generator Rate <br />Seniors 65 years of age and older and residents living in mobile home communities, <br />both of which must live in households with no more than two persons, are low trash <br />generators, and be the person named on the Municipal Utility Services account <br />receiving Cart Service shall be provided one (1) 35-gallon Cart for Refuse, one (1) 35- <br />gallon Cart for Recycling, and one (1) 35-gallon Cart for Organics for the monthly rate <br />included in the approved rate schedule. Customers receiving the senior and mobile <br />home low generator rate may not request additional Carts. <br />5.1.3 Multi -Family and Commercial Cart Service, and Multi -Family and <br />Commercial/Industrial Bin Services Billing <br />Contractor shall be responsible for billing for Commercial Cart, and Multi -Family and <br />Commercial/Industrial Bin services and other special charges as permitted in the <br />approved rate schedule on a monthly basis. <br />For Multi -Family Cart Customers whose residences are governed by a homeowners <br />March 9, 2020 80 City of Santa Ana - DRAFT <br />60A-169 <br />
