His professional <br />EDUCATION experience includes preparing construction plans, design services, and cost <br />B.S. Civil Engineering estimates for various projects. He is proficient in AutoCAD, MicroStations, GIs, <br />Ed Web Viewer, FAA, FFE/EES, SAP, Osmose O-Calc, JPA, and ProjectWise <br />AFFILIATIONS technical software. <br />American Society of Civil <br />Engineers (ASCE) Project Experience <br />California Land <br />Surveyors Association Walnut Street Water Main Replacement and Street Rehabilitation <br />(CLSA) CITY OF LOMITA I LOMITA, CA <br />AVAILABILITY Assistant Engineer. Mr. Ly is assisting the team providing engineering <br />design services for the Walnut Street Water Main Replacement and Street <br />70% Rehabilitation. The objective of the project is to replace and upsize 1,800- <br />LF of aging water main, and to rehab Walnut street within the water main <br />replacement project limit that include design of ADA curb ramps. The project <br />was originally designed by another firm and then revived several years later <br />after the City obtained the funds necessary to complete construction. Services <br />included reviewing and revising the existing plans, specifications and cost <br />estimates, Design services included including conducting utility research <br />investigation, constructability review, and obtaining the required Caltrans <br />encroachment permit for the water main connection. <br />Non -Potable Water Main Expansion <br />CITY OF SANTA MONICA I SANTA MONICA, CA <br />Assistant Engineer. Mr. Ly is assisting the team providing engineering design <br />services for the expansion of the city's non -potable water main system at <br />various locations citywide. Our team is responsible for providing all PS&E <br />including construction drawings, documents, cost estimates, survey, utility <br />research, construction bidding support, traffic control plans, and construction <br />phase support services for this expansion. The project is being broken up into <br />two phases. Phase 1 consist of the design of 1,400 LF of non -potable water <br />pipe on 5th Street from Santa Monica Boulevard to Colorado Avenue. This <br />phase will also include two connections; Palisades Park connections #1 (across <br />California Avenue) and #2 (to San Vicente Boulevard Median) will contain the <br />design of 100 and 600 LF of non -potable water pipe respectively. Phase 2 <br />includes the connection of the existing non -potable water main running along <br />Olympic Boulevard to the City Yards (2500 Michigan Avenue). <br />Eastside Water Treatment Facility Expansion <br />CITY OF CHINO I CHINO, CA <br />Assistant Engineer. Mr. Ly is assisting the team providing engineering design <br />support services for the Eastside Water Treatment Facility (EWTF) Expansion <br />Project. The expansion will allow for the treatment of groundwater from <br />Wells 13, 18, and 19, and potentially from wells 16 and 17, which are highly <br />impaired. The project will also expand the EWTF LGAC (1,2,3 TCP) and ion <br />exchange (nitrate and perchlorate) treatment capacity from 3,500 GPM to <br />V 5 7,000 GPM and will include the design and construction of 18,650 LF of dual <br />4-inch HDPE brine disposal lines to connect to the Inland Empire Brine Line. <br />
