Mr. Zensius managed the project, which included an 850- <br />Water Treatment <br />gpm, 1.0-mg welded -steel tank and treated water booster pump station. <br />Operator (CA) T4 <br />The site facilities include for future provision of a second 1.0-mg tank. The <br />No. 21893 <br />project included full design and construction support services for the tank and <br />pump station, 12-inch-diameter pipelines, piping connections and valving, <br />AVAILABILITY <br />electrical service upgrade, and site improvements. The project required <br />30% <br />close coordination with the Tuolumne Utilities District, as it forms part of a <br />phased upgrade/expansion of a key water treatment plant. He also prepared <br />construction drawings, technical specifications and cost estimates and <br />reviewed contractor submittals and responded to contractor RFIs. <br />Atherton Drive Water Storage and Booster Pump Station <br />CITY OF MANTECA I MANTECA, CA <br />Design Team Leader. Mr. Zensius was responsible for a fast -track, $5.3M <br />design -build project for a 3.6-mg capacity, welded steel water storage tank, a <br />dedicated booster pump station with five 150-hp pumps, piping, and standby <br />on -site electrical generation. Site improvements, along with water distribution <br />system improvements necessary to complete the tank and booster pump <br />station, are included. The project layout is designed to facilitate a future well <br />and wellhead treatment system. <br />Wells 28 and 29 <br />CITY OF MANTECA I MANTECA, CA <br />Project Manager. Mr. Zensius was responsible for the design of two new <br />municipal wells located in city parks. The wells will be designed to produce <br />between 1,000-1,500 gpm of high -quality water with minimal aesthetic impacts <br />to the surrounding established neighborhoods. The wells will be designed to <br />provide arsenic treatment. However, if water quality is such that treatment is <br />not currently needed, piping, valves, and well site space will be provided for <br />future installation if needed due to changes in regulations or water quality. <br />Both well sites will have buildings constructed to house the well, pump motor, <br />sodium hypochlorite feed system, instrumentation, controls and electrical <br />equipment. As a part of this project, five existing wells that are no longer in <br />V 5 use will be destroyed. <br />
