Scope of Services and Schedule <br />Below is TAIT's sample Scope of Work from our recent successful Chino Quadrant III Water Main <br />Replacement Project. <br />Sample Scope of Work <br />TAIT takes no exceptions to the City of Chino's revised scope of work. Based on our review of the RFP <br />and the revisions to Quadrant III project segments and bid package requirements, the following is our <br />proposed revised scope of work for successfully completing the initial analysis and design of the project: <br />PHASE 1) ADMINISTRATION <br />A As -Built Research, Investigation and Review <br />Review of record Information provided from the City files will be conducted to verify existing field <br />conditions. TAIT will also research and acquire existing available design records and utility <br />information. It is anticipated that the information collected during the research phase will be used <br />to assist in the development of the project base maps. <br />The records research will include obtaining records from the City, utility providers and all other <br />jurisdictions within the project limits. In addition, TAIT will document, contact, and coordinate with <br />other public and private agencies/entities/jurisdictions involved to inform them about the project <br />and obtain their records, approval, and permit requirements, as applies. <br />Obtained records will be reviewed and correlated with the Topographic and aerial (Bing Map) data <br />in order to prepare the final project Base map. <br />Deliverables: <br />✓ Digital Copies Records, Field Notes, Observations, & Photos <br />B Utility Research & Notification <br />Utility Notices <br />At project inception, TAIT will conduct utility research through Dig -Alert and City records and <br />will prepare and distribute the 1st utility notifications which will identify the project intent, <br />limits, and general scope of work and will request that each utility provide our office with the <br />associated As -Built records for the project limits. TAIT will review and compile the received <br />responses in to the project Utility matrix for tracking of existing utilities and conflicting facilities. <br />Upon completion of the 60% design, TAIT will distribute a 2nd notice to all present utilities and <br />will include a current set of plans for the utility's review and comment. All foreseen utility <br />relocations or conflicts will be identified in this notice for the Utility's review and action. TAIT <br />will actively coordinate with all utilities in order to ensure all relocations are coordinated and <br />completed prior to the start of the City's project. <br />The final notice will be sent at the design completion stage and will include a signed print of the <br />plans for the utilities records. TAIT will review all obtained record data and will coordinate with <br />�IITAIT _ Page 111 <br />
