TAIT & Associates, Inc. <br />On -Call Water Resources Engineering Services <br />Construction Support: <br />This task includes the necessary hours for providing limited construction assistance to the City <br />during the construction phase. TAIT will remain available to the City and will respond to <br />Contractor RFIs based on the City's request. TAIT will also review and provide responses to <br />Contractor submittal documents during the construction phase. It is assumed that the City's <br />construction manager will take the lead role in reviewing submittal documents and that TAIT will <br />play an assisting role for the submittals that require further attention to detail. For budgeting <br />purposes, this task has been assumed to be billed in a time and material basis. Additional hours <br />and fees will be requested based on the final number of RFIs and submittal review and <br />construction correspondence required during the construction phase. <br />Deliverables: <br />✓ Written Response to RFIs (As needed) <br />✓ Stamped and Reviewed Construction Submittal Documents (As Needed) <br />As -Built Plans <br />Upon completion of the construction phase, TAIT will incorporate the City provided redlines <br />from the Contractor and the Inspector in to the design plan set in order to prepare a final As - <br />Built document for City records. All field changes will be noted via rev cloud and delta note to <br />indicate As -Built revisions. Plans will be prepared and submitted in PDF format to the City for <br />initial review and acceptance. <br />Deliverables: <br />✓ As -Built Plans (PDF Copy) <br />Project Meetings <br />Per RFP requirements, a total of 5 meetings have been assumed as part of this task. At a minimum, the <br />following meetings are assumed: <br />Design Kickoff Meeting <br />A design kick-off meeting with TAIT's key team members, City staff, and other affected parties, <br />will be held at the start of the project to identify clear lines of communication and review the <br />final scope, schedule, milestones and other project details of concern. It is anticipated that the <br />City will provide pertinent record information for the existing streets and utilities including as - <br />built plans for the project limits. It is also understood that the City will provide standard <br />drawings, templates, and City design standards to TAIT at this time. Based on our actual NTP <br />date, TAIT will prepare and present an update of our project schedule. TAIT will also prepare a <br />meeting agenda for initial circulation. Upon completion of the meetings, TAIT will prepare <br />meeting minutes for circulation, review and comments. All meeting agendas, minutes and <br />exhibits will be filed in our project folder for final submittal to the City at the completion of the <br />project. <br />Design Review & Status Update Meetings <br />�II TAIT Page 118 <br />
