During the construction phase, the <br />Construction Contractor shall be required to submit a TMP to the City of Santa Ana (City) Director of <br />Public Works, or designee, for review and approval. During construction, the City Director of Public <br />Works, or designee, shall require the Construction Contractor to adhere to all requirements of the Traffic <br />Management Plan (TMP). The TMP shall include the following: <br />• Notices of lane closures in local media and posted on the City's website. <br />• Advance notice to the public and local emergency service providers regarding the timing, location, and <br />duration of construction activities. <br />• Procedures for coordination with OC Parks to ensure appropriate detour routes and ensure <br />appropriate signage is provided to display the dates of the closures and to identify the detour routes <br />• Procedures for coordination with emergency service providers to minimize temporary delays in <br />emergency response times. Such coordination could include the identification of alternative routes for <br />emergency vehicles and routes across the construction area. <br />City of Santa Ana Public <br />Works Director or <br />designee <br />During construction <br />Mitigation Measure TR-2: Fairview Street/Civic Center Drive Intersection LOS Monitoring. As part of <br />the City’s annual review of its Capital Improvement Program, the City Traffic Engineer will evaluate the <br />function of the intersection of Fairview Street and Civic Center Drive to ensure that it operates at <br />adequate level of service (LOS). During the construction phase, the <br />Construction Contractor will coordinate with utility service providers in the area to minimize the risk of <br />disruption of services and damage to any utility facilities present within the disturbance limits, to ensure <br />advance notification of any temporary service disruptions to the public, and to protect the safety of the <br />construction workers and the general public. <br />Construction <br />Contractor <br />During construction
