:�'�BUILDING <br />:.14, ETWORKS <br />Project <br />1. Scope of work is for MEP trades only. Required structural work will be specified as a delegated <br />design by design -builder. <br />2. Depending on the complexity of the work, the scoping narrative is anticipated to require two (2) <br />weeks from the site visit to coordinate with the key stakeholders to develop a draft scoping <br />narrative. Final scoping narrative to be developed within one (1) week of any comments by key <br />stakeholders. <br />3. Administration of the contractor Request for Proposal by the City directly. <br />4. Since the scope of work is a change out not -in -kind, it is assumed that the work will need to be <br />fully permitted. Scope of work in this assessment will develop concept level drawings that the <br />selected design -builder will leverage to complete a delegated design to full 100% permit and <br />construction ready drawings. <br />Exclusions <br />1. Scope of work assumes RFP administration, bid leveling, and contract administration is by the <br />City directly. It is currently understood that the City will be administering the bid directly on <br />PlanetBids. <br />2. Does not include construction administration services. But may be provided as an additional <br />service. See line item. Assumes maximum of 12 weeks of construction. <br />Deliverables <br />Scoping Study <br />• One (1) Site Survey <br />• One (1) Draft Scoping Study <br />• One (1) Final Scoping Study <br />• One (1) Scoping Narrative (as the basis for a Request for Proposal). <br />Bid Support Services <br />• Attendance atone (1) bidders conference (aka Bid Walk) <br />• Bid Leveling Summary (including award recommendation) <br />Construction Administration (Alternate Line Item) <br />• Review contractor submittals for conformance to contractor request for proposal requirements. <br />• Respond to contractor requests for information (RFI). <br />• Attend one (1) final punch walk to review contractor installation for general conformance <br />contractor request for proposal requirements. <br />• Issue Punch List for contractor corrective actions for items not in conformance with the contract <br />requirements. <br />HVAC Life Cycle Replacement Scoping Study Page 14 <br />City of Santa Ana Revised 07/07/2020 <br />
