DocuSign Envelope ID: 01 C1 DA1 D-6C6A-4608-A484-D928555169F0 <br />City of Santa Ana Public Works <br />OPC Water Resources Right of Way Acquisition Services PAGE 19 <br />— UTILITY COORDINATION <br />OPC's Utility Coordination service <br />addresses the relocation of utility <br />poles, as well as varying lengths of <br />accompanying underground utility <br />facilities, vaults, and appurtenances. <br />Our utility coordinators work from <br />inception of the Right of Way Data <br />Sheets through to the delivery of <br />Right of Way Certification and Post - <br />Certification activities, such as project <br />closeout/acceptance. Functions include <br />coordinating with project engineering <br />with efforts made to identify and <br />mitigate or prevent utility relocation. <br />The utility coordinator participates, as <br />needed, in project meetings either in <br />person orvia conference call. Potholing/ <br />daylighting activities are coordinated <br />with the utility owners. An active <br />reporting relationship is developed and <br />maintained with the various project <br />engineers, including all of the utility <br />owners. <br />Cost liability will be established in <br />accordance with applicable Caltrans and <br />Federal codes and requirements. The <br />utility coordinator will develop individual <br />Reports of Investigation, Notices to <br />Owner (and, when applicable), Utility <br />Agreements and inclusion in the Right <br />of Way Certification project milestone <br />(if applicable). <br />Coordination will be provided between <br />the project construction Resident <br />Engineer and the Utility Owners for <br />any relocation activities scheduled to <br />take place during project construction. <br />OPC's coordinator reviews bills from <br />utility owners for payment by the <br />City.
