Projects include AC <br />pavement grind and overlay, reconstruction of concrete curbs and <br />gutters, sidewalks, median islands, curb ramps, driveway approaches, <br />alley intersections, and other appurtenant work. Under the current <br />contract, we have performed work on over 50 task orders. Kleinfelder <br />services are performed in accordance with the County's Quality <br />Assurance Plan (QAP) and Caltrans specifications. <br />Martin Luther King, Jr. (MLK) Medical Center Campus East <br />Parrking Structure. Kleinfelder's Team included several County <br />certified special inspectors with past experience on post -tensioned <br />parking structures in accordance with County and relevant <br />requirements/specifications. Kleinfelder also provided an Inspection <br />Coordinator to fulfill and document the contractor's inspection <br />requests. We additionally provided multi -certified special inspectors <br />as -needed to observe placement of reinforcing steel, post -tensioned <br />tendons, concrete, masonry block, masonry grout, anchor bolts, epoxy <br />dowels, and structural steel welding for this multi -story building. <br />Arcadia Mental Health Center Replacement. Kleinfelder provided <br />construction materials testing and special inspection services on <br />behalf of the County to assess conformance with the project <br />structural plans and specifications during construction. Our multi - <br />certified, in-house technicians and inspectors provided staffing <br />consistency and scheduling on this project, maintaning costs and <br />maximizing efficiencies. <br />CLIENT BENEFITS <br />Rapid local response of nearly two dozen local, certified materials <br />testers and inspectors through our centralized dispatching system - <br />minimizing costs associated with travel by utilizing staff who reside <br />near the project sites. <br />Under the management of Mr. Dany Hanna, PE, MS, MBA, <br />Kleinfelder is currently providing construction materials sampling and <br />testing and batch plant (asphalt concrete/PCC) inspection services to <br />improve the State transportation system throughout Caltrans District <br />8. Our services are performed by materials engineering testers <br />holding the appropriate Caltrans, ACI and AASHTO certifications at <br />numerous project sites and material supplier batch plants. <br />Task Order Manager Mr. Mike Dorsch performs project scheduling and <br />field coordination, review and distribution of daily field reports, materials <br />documentation and information, and prepares reports to Caltrans <br />standards and requirements.
